and of course, rightfully, they are proud of it.
Yet most of them (MOSTLY THE ONES IN DIASPORA) apparently never listen to their prophets:
"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28)"
Also see what the man hated by you is saying about his bloody murdering enemies.

Most Turks never hate, for they never fear.
Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

Vahe, mostly the girls in diaspora hate us to death. I agree that once the purity of religions are stained for political control, the end result is not very bright. Look at Europe in middle ages and middle east today.

1. Armenia was the first Christian kingdom/government, not that all Armenians were adopted Christianity before others! (Christianity was adopted as "official" religion instead of Zoroastrianism by king Trtad in 301 A.D.)
2. Say "hate"? Armenians and Turks each accuse the other side for that "hate"...
3. I don't want to talk about what religion(s) say. But shortly I will say a nation will lose everything if religion be in first priority, say no? Take a look at Iran...

It is a historic fact that Armenia was the first state to accept Christianity and as far as I know, they never exploited it and I do respect them for that and their rich history.
The Romans, however, out of greed, took advantage of it by empowering themselves with it and ever since, Christianity has been used for that sole purpose!
Ataturk was a leader the world will hardly ever see again and I have deep respect for his words too.
I wish for the world to stop being greedy and make peace with everyone! We can believe in one God or in many Gods or even in no God but we should follow the true teachings given to us by the wise.

I thought that the first Christians were the Chaldeans. But maybe they hadn't a state at that time, that's why the Armenians say that they are the first one to accept this religion officially as a state religion.
But is that really important?
Being the first doesn't always mean being the best, does it ?

Greeks claim to be the first be the first Christians ever as well. They are proud of the "fact" that this pathetic, mentally disturbed and racistic personality, Paul, tought the words of the Juice "Lord" on the hill of Pnika, the place where democracy and all precious ancient Greek principals were expressed and materialized. (According to my opinion Greeks threw stones at him and his ridiculous preaching, but history is being written by the winners, who are not usually the ones on the right side).
As for me, all ancient religions related to Nature are acceptable as our true tradition, while the three versions of the same religion which actually originates in Egypt (From Akhenaton's Aton to Moses' Adonai) are just the curse of humanity. (one God in heaven, one ruler on the earth - how Bysantine, and Man as the immage of "God" being omnipotent to destroy nature).....

Those are very wise and well-meaning words from the Holy Bible and I have respect to them but you are forgetting three of the 7 deadly sins mentioned not only in Christianity but in most major religions : ENVY, ANGER and GREED .. Also one of the ten commandments : "Thou shall not LIE"
Those weaknesses of the human beings is the exact reasons why religions are needed by any society. Unfortunately, It seems like most of the humans are born and fell weak to those.. It is a sad but true fact.
The words of Ataturk, brought tears to my eyes, as always.
I really wish somebody except Turks understands the meaning and the courage to say that about the enemies who came to invade our land with no good cause other than attacking a falling empire in order to get their share- just like hyenas attacking a dying animal to grab a mouthful of meat..

I do not think people who are so desperate to create themselves a bit of "history" by boasting about the adaptation of some religion would be concerned about its actual rules. They obviously interpret the passages of their book to elevate their poor egos.
Religion can appeal to human beings only, if you have lost your human properties no religion can put in a moral path.

Stop you are just
a wanna be you
need to believe
what you say an
practice it. In
the bible there
are many passages
that speak of heathens
read them before
you start preaching.
add :( I have no faith in
your sincerity and I have
good reason to. You
quote the bible to
slander Armenians
outside Armenia.
Yet most of them (MOSTLY THE ONES IN DIASPORA) apparently never listen to their prophets:
You do this often
but I am savvy to
your true intentions
here. The fact is
you hate me so much
you will stoop that low
to surf my bible to find
words that have no
bearing on the reality
of a truth.
Your time is up.
ADD :( YOU just don't
get it do you????
You makes jokes
and that really is sad.
Its because I am
a Christian I accept
your hate for me and
the insults you and your
friends have for the Armenians
is also tolerable because
of my Christianity. You are
blind to the pain and torture
that your ancestors caused for many
other races and today your denial
is a sure sign you have not
found God. When you are
finally willing to admit sin
is only when I can forgive
you......
