Yes I guess in a way it is for both sides; you are learning to live in a house together and learning each others ways. Not all families are raised the same so you may come in there with some different ideas of how a home should be. For instance at my house the toilet paper has to go on the roll the RIGHT way with the paper coming over the roll not under and ALWAYS wash out the sink after brushing your teeth I hate tooth past splatters left in there and NEVER EVER leave the toilet paper roll empty that is just plain mean. My husband has a few rules too, all plates must be rinsed and put in the dishwasher as soon as you are done, make the bed before your tinkle in the morning and pick up the dogs tootsie rolls when they are done so he does not have to look around when he goes outside. So yes we are like new pups when we first get married oh yea and I hate it when people leave the lights on in a room. SHUT THEM OFF you are NOT in there so why leave them on???? Just me Saw baby! Kind of OCD aren't we?

I suppose that depends.. The first owner of that dog ( meaning the parents ) should have already trained it, if not.. then I guess that is what has to happen.
Also, some dogs just never can be trained. LOL
Sorry, I really meant people, not dogs. : )

Generally, one gets better results from dog training. A bone goes much further for a dog!

It depends on the breed. Some are already trained. Some needs lots of grooming. LMAO!

That is hysterically true. My grandmother use to say a man chases a woman unit ll she catches him, then the training begins. I guess it's true, I am married 27 years LOL

Well...there is a certain likeness between how dogs & men behave. You gotta train them to learn proper bathroom behavior, where to sleep, when to lay down, what to eat, make them get groomed and alot of men think they can f*ck any thing they want to--like a dog!
