take a plea bargain to get probation or would you ask for a trial and risk getting convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison?
assume that you don't know the outcome of the trial- could go either way.

This happened to me. It didn't even make it to court. I was going to plead innocence at my hearing, but in the mean time I did my foot work and had enough time to come up with the evidence to prove my innocence.

My atty and I were waiting outside the court room for my hearing. Atty met with the prosecutor, presented my findings to him, prosecutor determined that I was not guilty of the accusation, no need for the hearing, and the case was dismissed.

My accuser was also present, waiting to go in to speak against me. It was my ex-husband. And, it was awesome to see him go storming out of the court house! nyuk nyuk.

If you r innocent, do all you are able to prove your innocence. The courts prefer a settlement outside of court, as it is so costly to have a trial. The courts are booked up solid with cases already. The method of choice in most cases is to not even go to court, especially if it would be a plea bargain. I was not going to take a plea if it came to that. I was innocent, knew it, had enough evidence to prove it, and was going to go to trial if I had to.

I would not take the plea bargain. When you do that, the other lawyer knows they have won, since they have scared you and you look guilty.

Frankly, when it comes to parole or pardon, you will likely get out at about the same time anyway.

Well it depends in which country are you in........Asia can be cruel and crime is bought , but if it is the US....Nope..I would fight till the end.........I would like a fair trial so if I ahve to do it all the way I would...........I beleive the truth will always prevail, no matter what...I will keep appealing until my case was really heard............I am definite one of those trials, you will be considered not guilty and I would never stop even if it meant all my life,,,,,,,,,,

I would write a dying mans confession, clearing my good name and commit suicide. Most Prosecutors don't give a damn about the truth anyway, even if they somehow ran across one small shred of evidence that would exonerate a man from death row, they would hide or destroy that evidence to win a conviction in a high profile case. That's why 24% of our nations prisons are housing innoent men.

My husband did no longer tell me he develop into bringing a team of persons abode, so I had drugs purely obtainable. She denied all of it up and down, besides the undeniable fact that it develop into her. i do no longer seek advice from her anymore as there is particularly no longer something that i will do with out stirring up an entire lotta nightmare!!! i've got self assurance it quite is a federal offense to scouse borrow narcotics from somebody else's prescription, so she have been given off complication-free as she purely have been given out of penal complex for attack and he or she needed me and my husband and a few others to interrupt in to a house on our highway and that i develop into like Hell no. definitely plea bargain because in my country, even if its not your fault, more chances are if you dont do anything about it, you'll end up convicted.. less problems to them, they dont have to find someone else who would be pleaded guilty.
