I'm googling recipes and am finding stuff like, Hazelnut Melting Moments Cookies, Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies, Swedish Angel Crisps and Double Chocolate De-Lite Cookies. What I can't find is, "Chocolate Chip", "Sugar Cookie" and "Peanut Butter". Simple, simple simple. I don't want fancy recipes (no matter how good they may taste). I want the classics! Does anyone have simple, yet delicious, recipes for:
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Sugar Cookies
Gingerbread Cookies
Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients should include things like, "flour", "sugar", "water", etc. I don't have any "almond extract", "rolled oats", "lemon peel", or things like that.

I'm a Christian, but I grew up Catholic and swtiched to non-denominational. But I've always wondered why Protestants had such a big problem with transubstantiation (when God performs a miracle through the priest, bringing the presense of Jesus into the bread and wine - body and blood of Christ). I mean, can't God do anything he wants??? Last time I checked nothing is impossible through God. I don't mean to offend anyone tho...just need some educated answers or theories. Please, no christian bashing atheists...I want to hear from Christians!

I'm talking about the Burning Times here, which can range from 500 AD to the present (depending on the source). Do you hold the Abrahamic Religions totally responsible for the almost total loss of our practices, and ways of life that have forced us to reconstruct everyting, based on snippets and tidbits from here and there? Do not only hold the people who actually committed these atrocities responsible but hold every single member of those groups as being responsible? In other words, do you hate them for what they've done to us over the ages? Do you KNOW that Witches and other Pagans continue to be killed and tortured in THIS day and age. The Burning Times continues even in this day and age in remote parts of the world such as Africa and Southeast Asia. Additionally, there ARE folks, even right here in the U.S. of A. who would like to return to those days of torture and killing in the name of their God? How do you feel about that?

Old towns are often filled with one way streets. I don't understand why they couldn't make streets that go both directions. It seems like a waste of space not to mention a headache if you miss your turn and have to drive all the way around to find a street that goes the opposite direction.

Ok, I have known her for about 6 years but now I feel uncomfortable around her. Her mom was diagnosed with a life threatning blood disease, and couldn't talk for about two weeks( her throat almost was swollen shut) and almost died. While she was in the hospital we stuck together...but now that she has been out of the hospital and is getting better I feel wierd around her. They always thought church was boring but now they go and believe, and she doesn't listen to our regular bands anymore, but seems totally different and I feel awkward. I understand all the change and accept it, but I have had 4 of my grandparents die in a year and she barely offered and sympathy. When I told this to my other friends they helped me. I am soooo confused. We are really close, but I feel as if we are spliting apart. Help anyone?

What was taken out of the bible? You have to know by now that many books were taken out and if that is so, then how can you trust what was left in? IIf you live your lives according to this book, why then do you seem to not care what was removed? What if what was removed changes everything and you are doing things all wrong? I am always so curious about that. Is it your determination that you cannot be wrong? Seriously, I am just curious and I hope I dont get a bunch of Gospel or Scripture back because I will be very dissapointed in you.

Yes i do have a headache thats been going on for over a month. The mri shows 1.5-cm right sphenoid polyp or complex cyst. A little stuffy at times, but mainly a headache in the back right side of my head. Is there anything i can take, i've been on amox and other meds........ My GF doesn't care if I talk to girls. But she knows that I think a girl at work is hot. I would dump my GF if I knew Tia would go out with me. When my GF had the day off, I went to lunch with Tia. She isn't even interested in me. She's a tease. She is 2 mos pregnant and has man problems. I like being around her. I hardly ever have sex with my GF because I think about being with Tia. She has tig o bitties. All the guys want her. I don't want a relationship from her, tho. My GF knows all this. When my GF told me to watch what I say and do around Tia so that the wrong impression isn't made, I told her that if she didn't shut the F, I would dump her for Tia. Needless to say, if my GF found out I went to lunch with Tia, she would be on my butt about it. I am not married or commited so I can do whatever I want. And I didn't cheat. So I don't feel like I should have to tell my GF anything or defend myself should she ask me about it. Any advice, bros?

ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) A Roswell police officer was removed from school campuses after turning a pregnant 18-year-old student over to immigration authorities.

Police Chief John Balderston defended the action by Officer Charlie Corn, a 10-year veteran who was working at Roswell High School as a student resource officer.

But he said Roswell Independent School District Superintendent Michael Gottlieb asked for Corn's removal "because he didn't want the officer checking on the immigration status of the students."

Last week, the district and police department made a joint decision to remove all school resource officers, the Roswell Daily Record reported.

Gottlieb had no comment Thursday.

The incident began after senior Karina Acosta was cited Nov. 29 for a parking violation and driving without a license. Balderston said she was given several days to produce a license, and when she did not, Corn pulled her from class Dec. 5.
