I'm asking more about the meaning and why each part of the ceremony is done.
By the way I'm catholic and have been to weddings when i was younger so im not going to believe you if you tell me they cut the head off a chicken or whatever.

It varies a bit - each denomination has its own variations on the theme. The questions and vows are basically the same as in a secular marriage ceremony - they have to follow particular words to make the marriage legal.

But for the full modern version of the Anglican marriage ceremony, try this link:

It's quite long so you have to scroll way down to find the questions, vows, etc.

There are different types of christian ceremonies. Catholic ceremonies are different from Lutheran ceremonies which are different from Lutheran ceremonies. The catholic weddings I've been to include communion, and sometimes a sermon and hymns. My sister was married in a Lutheran ceremony and hers just included readings from the bible, the vows, and the lighting of the unity candle. I agree that your best option is to ask a pastor, priest, or minister. But I personally think this is a bad assignment because there are different branches of Christianity, they're not all the same religion, so they don't do all things the same.
