Were soldiers in the Civil War ever discharged from duty because of an injury and sent back home?

If so, what sort of injury could a man have sustained back then that was bad enough to not be able to fight anymore but would not have instantly killed them?

Lately, (about two months) I've been suffering from the following symptoms. I don't know what it is. I don't think it's PMS because it's nonstop and PMS usually ends and then starts again.

Symptoms include:
-very easily agitated
-extreme tiredness
-headaches + migraines
-dizziness + feeling of vertigo
-inability to focus
-impatience
-lack of care/interest

it seems that all I want it to be left alone and sleep. Any minute of any day, whether I just woke up, or just came home from school, all I want is to go to sleep. And I think I get adequate amounts of sleep. During the week, I sleep for 7 hours/night (age 16) and during the weekends, up to 12 hours.

Any suggestions on what it could be? What can I do to make it go away?

Because i was just recently watchin it and they showed a man who is a single parent, and has TWO KIDS and actually provides for them. The reality of it that is, not only is the man lonely, but he was seduced. THen they threw him in jail and now he basically is a sex offender. He probably could lose his job and then, who's going to provide for his kids. Its totally understandable that he's lonely, although sex with a minor is not an excuse but they need to realized the reality of it instead of not caring about their future and automatically thinking their perverts and pedefiles. I dont believe they are all innocent but i believe at least 85 to 90% are because they are seduced and most likely never even thought about having sex with a minor...especially 13 year olds.

work at Burger King, and ran into a nasty situation yesterday.
One of My Coworkers (we'll call her "Jen") came to work from the gym, like usual. When she was done changing, she went to put her clothes in an empty cupboard, like she always does.
So.. As she was putting her clothes away, she noticed that the Sierra Mist Fountain Dispenser was dripping. She put her clothes on the ground and used her DIRTY SOCK to wipe off the nozzle to stop the dripping.
I wanted to yell at her immediately, but I didn't. I would talk to our manager, but I don't want to be the nark that I'm already harped up tp be.
I was so disgusted by this, and I don't want her to get away with it!
What should I do??!?
