As an African-American woman, I really don't see the difference at all. I love being inside both an Ice Skating Rink and a Roller Skating Rink; if only I learned how to both ice skate and roller skate.

Hi,
If the you or the black girls you're thinking about are teens, I'd say a roller skating rink just from what I know and seen at roller rinks around the country. I've never hung out in an ice skating rink so I don't know what kind of music they play there. All the roller skating rinks I've been to in California, Nevada, Arkansas and Colorado all have DJs that cater to pre-teens and teens. The floor is packed with girls and boys of all colors skating and dancing. Can people even jam skate on ice skates?

Hmmm, just an observation........I frequent ice rinks and we actually have a roller skating rink in our city. I think it's about even. I haven't seen a lot at either. A few, but not a lot. Sorry!

I don't think it makes any difference. I don't rollerskate much but I used to and now I just ice skate and I don't recall seeing more/less "black girls" at either.
Isn't this question a bit racist anyway?
