my 10 year old has wet underwear because he goes to the bathroom to fast. i alrealdy told him to slow down when his there what else can i do.

Have you taken him to the doctor? It sounds like he has a bladder problem. My nephew had the same problem, he has over active bladder.

Wet underwear is no fun and lets everyone around you know there's something unusual. It may not be he's just going too fast. First have him checked by a doctor to rule out anything physical. Since he's wetting the bed at night (I assume), he might be more comfortable and sleep better in a goodnite. If it continues during the day, a goodnite during the day may also be helpful. It could be phrased to him as having disposible underwear and its no big deal. He'll eventually grow out of it.

I would have him checked out by a respected urologist. At 10 this should be bothering him not only because it is uncomfortable to be wet ,but also because urine has a very distinct odor that other kids are certainly picking up on . If he is still wetting the bed at night, there are various medications as well as bedwetting monitors that can help him stay dry. I would attend to this right away as it is sure to become an issue for ridicule as he approaches middle school.
