Because i was just recently watchin it and they showed a man who is a single parent, and has TWO KIDS and actually provides for them. The reality of it that is, not only is the man lonely, but he was seduced. THen they threw him in jail and now he basically is a sex offender. He probably could lose his job and then, who's going to provide for his kids. Its totally understandable that he's lonely, although sex with a minor is not an excuse but they need to realized the reality of it instead of not caring about their future and automatically thinking their perverts and pedefiles. I dont believe they are all innocent but i believe at least 85 to 90% are because they are seduced and most likely never even thought about having sex with a minor...especially 13 year olds.

if this guy you are talking about really cared for his kids he wouldn't made the decision he did!

i have 3 small kids and get lonely too, but you are not going to see me on the internet picking up young boys and put my kids through all hurt and pain.

you know i first saw it and i was quite excited to learn that there was someone working to catch these predators. later i thought about it , as i have seen the show 3 times now. i do think they are being convicted because a POTENTIAL CRIME has been comitted ? i think they had the intent to commit a crime ... but since an actual crime didn't occur ? I'm not sure what the letter of the law is , but , i do feel kind of bad for some of these guys. Now some of these guys , especially the ones that knew there was a MSNBC sting going on , really deserved to be caught. Hopefully men will realize what these laws are about and stop doing these things. Our society will not tolerate it.

I do think that the "13 year olds" are alittle to seductive but when a guy takes his words/typing and puts them into his actions that is when to draw the line! A lot of guys even come prepared with condoms and alcohol! He is certainly not looking to "be her friend and hang out!" I think that the media is partly to blame in this situation because, I don't know about 13 year old's where you live but where I live they can be pretty out there, way more than I remember, and the older guys need to be the adult and think of family, friends, job, record, and life to say the least before he "hits on" a 13 year old!

If they are on those sites they have started, if they stayed home they were only voyeurs but once they come to meet a young person THEY ARE PEDOPHILES.
