no, my father would spank me until he saw a tear. i was too stubborn to cry.
my brother was just the opposite. he would scream and get dramatic and my father would spank him until he cried less.

As a little kid I thought I was being spanked real hard and so I'd cry real well.

Older? Well, usually I try to "tough it out"; but sometimes, especially when they concentrate on the "sit spots", it ain't that I'm crying "real loud" so they will stop. I know they will stop when I've gottten what I deserved.
