My friend is applying for a Secret Service position, however he/she has vision acuity of 20/80. SS only accepts 20/60 or better. I am trying to find reasonable accomodations that would allow he/she to be considered. He/She served in the military and used glasses the entire time. No one complained then. What should he/she do?

What do you think of the name Eila for a girl? (I just came across it and thought it was very pretty. It seems like a much less popular alternative to names like Ella and Ava.)

Back in high school, when word would spread through school that they was doing locker checks, you could always get a good laugh out of watching people running to their lockers to hide the "stuff".
I wonder if it was kinda like that today at homes of baseball players. Franticly running around in circles trying to figure out where to bury the syringes...OH CRAP!

Thanks for the responses, but I should add the gray ring does not go away. I was involved in a car accident some ten years ago. I wear glasses because of it, and my vision is blurred most of the time. My doc said "It's a sign of age." I am only 55. age my ****. I am very nervious of doctors (I wonder why).

I was not always fat. In 5th grade i started getting made fun of so i went home and i pretty much ate my sorrows away. I am 5' 8. I really want to loose weight to gain more confedence in myself. But the problem is i am so hungry all the time! I will eat like 5 pieces of pizza and in an hour i will be starving again! I dont want to do weight watchers because i dont have time to make a lunch every morning and go to the stupid meetings! I dont have P.E. or weights this year so i get like no exersize at all! I have a member ship to a Gym but im not old enought to go in by myself. I dont want to go exersize with my MOTHER! So please help me! i need some tips to stop eating so much and to stop eating all the time! I weight like 230! I want at least get down to 180! HELP!

My cat was a very large cat,all of an sudden she is lossing weight,sometime food makes her sick so she vomits,but I try to stick to what she likes.She is an old cat,but she's my baby.Could stress cause her to loss weight,she has no lumps to show she has cancer.We do have other new cats,could that be another reason?I'm worried about her

my wife wont come to court to get a divorce and has her family lieing about her and my sons whereabouts and now the judge has ordered me to serve her one more time what happens then and if cps gets involved which he said will happen if she doesnt come the next court hearing how long after that will i see my son cause she is avoiding the courts and the mentor called to speak to her family and im the back ground heard the mother of my ex talking a bunch of crap?

okay, this morning, i asked my dad if he would drive me to school, but he said no cuz he had too many appointments later that afternoon to be able to come and pick...so, i asked my friend for a ride...when school ended i called my grandma to see if she could come pick me and my friend up - we were originally going to walk home, but decided otherwise...to call my grandma...i used my friends cell phone...a little bit before my grandma got to the school...my friend and i spotted our other friends riding their bikes towards the library...so we started talking to them and decided to go to the library and volunteer with them...when my grandma got there, we had her drive us to the library instead of my house...when i was in the middle of organizing books, my dad walked in and said, "ur in trouble, we're leaving, let's go." i was so confused! when we were in the car...he started telling me how irresponsible it was not to call him and blah-blah-blah...but he recently took my phone away...
