I drive a 2001 Mercury cougar, and I'm having a problem with it. I was driving around today and the check engine light came on. Then a little exclamation point inside a circle starting flashing under the speedometer, and the brakes were kind of squealing. Also the car was driving funny, it kind of felt like it "chugging". Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong with it? I'm taking it over to a mechanic tomorrow, but in the meantime I'm getting worried. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? I hope it won't be expensive to fix.

I truly think all men cheat! So here I'm going to leave my man because he cheated and then the next man I meet will do the same thing. So where the hell can I be going if their all the same? I do want to leave but if I leave and I get the same **** what I'm I complaining for. Men how long have you been with your girlfriends or wives and never cheated?

People are telling me I might have a self esteem problem cause I said he complete me. How many of you have husbands or wives who have cheated and complete you. He is a big part of me and when he's not here it just doesn't seem right.

What i really want someone to answer is being an introvert unreversable or can i be more extroverted im sick not telling anyone my opinion but can I change. My health teacher said "you can't change if your introverted or extroverted". at the time my life was crazy. I didnt have my perod i went thru something that was a lot! like hot flashes and mood swings. i am having periods now but only once every six months VERY LIGHT sometimes i stop completely and i take b.c. pills to get it going again then i stop taking the pills I hate those things. What do you think? am i just the lucky girl who doesnt get'em or unlucky and now i cant have children???

My brother was an A hole to me growing up. I always hated it when someone smacked their food, and he knew it. He would always smack on purpose just to make me mad, whenever he could. Handing out gum to everyone around me, all that stuff. He always did it with that same smile on his face. Even after years of this, after begging, pleading and crying for him to just leave me the hell alone, he wouldnt. I don't think I can forgive anyone for that kind of mental torture. We are both older now and live outside the house and in our own apartment. Recently, he stayed with me for three days and it was the worst three days ever, because all those feelings came rushing back. Who is he to stay at my place after what he did to me? But I just held it in. He comes over every now and again cuz he left his phone charger, or some papers, he gets his stuff but then stays and sometimes even tags along with me and my friends. This is NOT cool. I;m gonna have to tell him to stay out of my life from now on.?

Ok as I understand the definition: You can't be charged for the same crime twice? Yet this mother who killed the bf that broke up with her daughter was tried and convicted and later release on a technicality. The state wasn't able to try her on the crime again but the federal level was. But double jeapordy is a constitutional law which shouldn't let federal retry her for the crime. Just doesn't make sense. If the federal can try someone that was already tried in a state then what use is double jeapordy?

I have two great, new, oil-filled plug-in electric radiators. Most of the time I use them on and off, because it's more economical for me to use them at night, for example, in my bedroom and in the kitchen (to keep pipes from freezing) instead of heating the entire house the regular way, which is with forced hot air coming thru a natural-gas-fed furnace in the basement. I'm going away for 2 and half weeks, it's really really cold, and i HATE the idea of having to leave the furnace thermostat set "on" while I'm away, with those zillions of gas dollars going out the window. But i don't want my pipes to freeze, and it's not economical to get the plumber to drain pipes and set 'em back up again just for this short period, either. SO, QUESTION: Is it safe to leave two brand-new oil-filled portable heaters plugged in, on a low setting, for two and a half weeks? They don't get warm or anything in the socket (I check all the time to be safe). One in kitchen, one in bath, for pipes' sake?

Sometimes I read back one of my answers... or someone else's answers... and it was a good answer. And I notice that the answer has been thumbs-downed... Just now I was reading a page of answers and everyone down the whole page had one thumbs down and nothing else, like someone just went on the page and went thumbs-down crazy.
