While waiting for my first appointment in the reception room of a new dentist, I noticed his certificate, which bore his full name.

Suddenly, I remembered that a tall, handsome boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 30 years ago. Upon seeing him, however, I quickly discarded any such thought.

This balding, gray-haired man with the deeply lined face was way too old to have been my classmate.

After he had examined my teeth, I asked him if he had attended the local high school.

"Yes," he replied.

"When did you graduate?" I asked.

He answered, "In 1971. Why?"

"You were in my class!" I exclaimed.

He looked at me closely and then asked, "What did you teach?"

Okay.
So, my teacher told me this is going to be a really hard topic, and that it was my fault for choosing it.

And she said
"Make sure it is a RESEARCH paper and NOT just a REPORT"

But I am having some issues figuring out how I can make it a research paper.
Like, what can I research ABOUT Pop Art, that will make it specifically a research paper, and not a report.

Do you have any idea what I can do?

Like, wasn't Pop Art the revolution of something...
Or the Revoultion of something was the cause of Pop Art...

I don't know.

I wish I could change my topic...but I have a psycho teacher.

So, if you know what it is about Pop Art that I can specifically research, that would be great.

(It can't be a person. So I can't do anything like Andy Warhol or something. So, that sucks.)

I'm kinda in a disconcernment time (not offically actually) for entering the religious life (nun). I'm a junior in college and pretty strong in my faith. Sometimes there is no doubt in my mind at all about becoming a nun, I love it and am so peacfull at the thought. Sometimes I don't think I will at all. When I think I wont I'm as peacfull at mind. Lately, when I 'know' I will be I also have the confident feeling as to which type of ministry I will be working in.

Is this normal for disconcernment?

Everyone around her including her own family can see that she is destroying her life and the life of her 2 children. She blames everything on the husband but she can not tell him what it is that he has done to cause her to want out of the marriage. She has disconnected herself from her children and asked for a divorce. She does seem to think that by asking for a divorce and having the husband served with papers is painful and destructive to him. It is as if she is a totally different person that he married. The body is the same but the spirit living in the body is someone that he does not know. No history of marital problems no drugs no abuse nothing at all just one day the wife up and asked for a divorce and said tha she no longer wants to be married. What can be done besides let her go, sell the house and move on, knowing that one day she will hurt very bad for what she has done but she can not see it.

I thought if I would give my wife something that would give her more energy (venti caramel frappuccino), she would have more energy and show more interest in having relations with me. But apparently this is not the case, she says it does nothing for her. Our time together has not increased.

I have decided to stop referring to myself as an atheist. Gives to much credit to the "theist" part.

I think I will use "realist" from now on. What do you think. Let's give the theist's back their word.

A blonde walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. Says she's going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.

The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank, she has the title and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan.

The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blonde for using a $250,000 Rolls as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

Two weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5.000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.

The loan officer says, "Miss we are very happy to have your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a millionaire. What puzzles us is, why you bother to borrow $5,000?"

The blonde replies, "Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"
