It is incredibly difficult to bring Western & Eastern philosophies together. So I'm not sure how one would measure success here. I suppose that instead of "successfully" one could consider changing that phrase in the question to "most usefully" or "in such as way as to express the truth of things more accurately.".

There are two visitors (girls) from Jamaica that are living right across the road from me until January. One night, I decide that I'm going to the clubz, simply because there's nothing else to do, and giving the fact that they're visitors and doesn't know the place at all, and love to dance, and they're usually bored, I ask if they wanna come along, and they decide they'll come with me to the clubz. It wouldn't be a bad thing if they pay their way inside, right?

please help me answer these questions step-by-step..
1) Find two numbers whose sum is 9. If the product of one by the square of the other is a maximum.

2)The sum of the bases and the altitude of a trapezoid is 36 inches longer than the other. Find all three dimensions if the area is a maximum.

3)Find the shortest distance from the curve (y²=x³) to the point (8,0).

i've been having this werid feeling that Christmas was going to be something special this year and started praying about it. i recently found out that i am going to a Seventh Day SLumber concert (my dad is a pastor and received a poster about it) so i llistened to them and fell completely in love with them, when my dad announced the concert to the church he explained that it was aimed toward the youth and that their would be a speaker there that night too. the concert is next friday, Dec. 21, do you think its an answered prayer?

i lot of my friends aren;t exactly Christians and living for GOd, i've tried to get some to come, but im not sure if they will. (*i believe in salvation; baptist)

I need help....I have been taking Darvocets in large doses...even got prescriptions from different doctors to different pharmacies. I also have been taken whatever else i can get my hands on for pain. Without it I feel tired and achy all the time.
I have a chronic condition which they have no cure for and i am in a lot of pain often. But i am so worried that i am now just taking the darvocet to feel ok and not because i really hurt. Today I went to my doctor trying to get a refill, when they found out that i have been taken way more then I am suppose to. I felt so dirty, like some drug head.
I need help...how can i ween myself off? What do i do when i am in real pain? Please don't make fun of me....help

After nearly five years of being with his live-in girlfriend, my dear friend is going to ask for her hand in marriage. He doesn't want to do it in their house because he feels it's tacky, so he's taking her out to a fancy steak house. The question is this: How should he pop the question without help from the restaurant staff? Any unique ideas on how to present the ring? I've suggested the wine glass or dessert cart ideas, but he isn't keen on those. I think that child support should be 50/50 split between the two parents evenly.....I really see no reason for the unequality of child support, I mean after all it is the woman who makes the final decision........NOT the man ,who really has no say at all, though He will be paying at least 75% of what it costs to rear a child that will eventually be warped by the mothers audacious slander......Why is it ok to punish a man for having sex outside of a marriage....but on the other hand reward the woman for her mis-deeds........And why is it that when the man has no fatherly rights to take a child even for a day, but if the child is harmed in the mothers care the father can/will be brought up on charges for not stopping something he had no real control over!?!? (<---that came out of the mouth of a lawyer---^)

I'd like to wrap the immobile parts of the gun in order to keep it protected from the elements. When I hunt I do alot of crawling, climbing, and walking through thickets and would like to keep the gun in good condition. Essentially my idea is similar to what they did to the M1's in WWII. Can I do this with my shotgun? And what is the best material to use?

Ok I'm not questioning if its real or not.. That debate is old and dead
My question is it could not have been one cell that made everything could it have been?

My Thinking is this. Back when ever it happened the protiens lined up and became life there had to be a LOT of them I mean A LOT right?
Some got coded to be eaters and others got coded to be eaten. Then those that got coded to be eaters moved on and became the animals and what not. Those that got coded to be eaten became plants.

I know eaters can be eaten and Eaten can be eaters but do you see my line of thinking?

So do we have any theoretical ideas on this or am I just out on a limb?
