ask God to forgive you and apologize to the person. Besides, it will make you feel better and it won't be on your conscious regardless.

That depends on why they were offended. If someone did not offend me I would still be wondering around lost and trolling for kicks.
We should always be respectful when dealing with others. People are very precious to our Father. The scribes and Pharisees were very precious to Jesus yet he offended them and much of the world today is offended by Jesus. Jesus on the other hand never disrespected anyone, even Satan.

Just because you offend someone it doesn't mean you said or did anything wrong. I could offend a lot of people by saying that Jesus is God but by saying this I am not sinning.

Some one once said to God, If I have offended You. then pluck out my eyes. Im not sure we should go quite that far. I think an apoligy might be ok.

go to the one you have offended and admit your offence then ask forgivness
