I've heard it pronounced both ways. Mainly res-pit as in elder care and respite in the text of rest and relaxtion. Are they 2 different words or the same pronounced depending on where you grew up? We, Southerners are famous for language skills.

by just plugging it in, or will it have to be reprogrammed? Also, will the ignition keys work? It has 160K with multiple symptoms and no codes come up. Rough idle, poor mileage, engine miss and the speedometer pegs over to !40. All intermitently, so I'm guessing the ECM might be faulty.

All i remember from it is this:
- There are no words/dialog, only sounds
- The background is all white (I think)
- There is a guy with a mustache and a devil as the characters
- The guy is deaf and blind
Basically to summarize it, the guy has the old crankable record player and then he uses the horn on it to help him hear. meanwhile, the devil has something to do with the cartoon (I cannot remember what) but the guy takes off the devil's horn and uses it to help him hear. On one of the things the guy uses to hear, it becomes clogged with water so he blows the water out. There is also an involvement with shapes, but I cannot remember what their involvement is.
I know this isn't very descriptive (or if it even helps at all), but I really want to know what the name of the cartoon is...PLEASE HELP! and thanks in advance!

Ok so I had this dream where I am at this party. We're all in the kitchen and everything is white.. The party is for the end of the century and everyone is counting down to the new century..(Everyone is saying that the world will end then)..Then we finally count down to zero and we all start floating up into the sky (Heaven I'm guessing)..Then I woke up...
It was such a freaky dream..Any ideas what this could symbolize?

We see two things related to this group. We have their " works" and their " Teaching."
There are not many things that the Lord says that He blatantly hates. But to the church in Ephesus He speaks to them concerning their stand against the works of the Nicolaitans. THis kind of behavior displayed by them.

By the time the Epistle was written to the Church in Pergamos.. these works or behavior had turned into a Teaching. What a jump.

Why does the Lord hate the works and teaching of this group in the Church.
The Word Nicolaitans has a lot to understanding why the Lord hates this. What did they do that was so horrible that the Lord hated it.

Ty for any scriptural references to support your answers. May the Word of Christ dwell in us richly.

On 11/01/07, the NYT obits reported the death of Paul Tibbets Jr., the pilot of the Enola Gay, which dropped the first A-bomb on Japan. The obit states: "His mother, the former Enola Gay Haggard, grew up on an Iowa farm and was named for a character in a novel her father was reading shortly before she was born."

Can't find reference to the particular novel or information on the character. I wonder if, as many know, the fact that "Enola" spelled backwards is "alone" has any significance in the book?
