Our condo board is considering allowing us to put in the walk, but one owner says it will add to our drainage (flooding) problems. Walk will replace portions of grass. (We're in Fla. where ground is quite permeable)Will the drainage be that much worse? Would like to show that the water will permeate the walk almost as well as the grass. Thanks.

Basic beliefs are fine. Like what do they believe about Jesus and about that guy they added as a prophet for their Book of Mormon? I just like to know what others believe.

*I'm a non-denominational Christian and believe in the Bible and Jesus as Savior.

At my high school we have a pretty strict policy about cell phones. If teachers see you texting during class they will take your phone from you, turn it off and give it to the vice principal, who will return it to you the next day. Recently, one of my friends was caught texting and decided to remove his CIM card from his phone before giving it to the teacher so that he could put it in another cell at home. The next day the vice principal approached him and got angry with him for removing the CIM card. This indicates that the vice principal turned on his cell phone, probably with the intention of reading his text messages. I have no doubt that this is a common practice of the vice principal, though I would need further information to know for sure. Though cases have indicated that students give up some of their rights upon entering school, it seems that the administration would need probable cause in order to search a students posessions. Is this a violation of privacy?

It’s a pretty big world - with so many places to explore, the hardest part can be choosing where to go. Some use the internet for inspiration. Some collect travel magazines. Some prefer a thick guidebook on their nightstand, but we want to know what works for you. Tell us what helps you plan a great vacation.

I was hired into a top worldwide hotel chain over 3 years ago and made the agreement to remove my earrings and shave. I agreed to that and was told that my tattoos were not a problem. I have 2 tattoos on my forearm and my last name around my wrist. A year into my employment the General Manager changed and for the last 2 years there hasn't been an issue. I was informed today that all "offensive tattoos" must be covered by long sleeves. I am the only one affected by this policy change. There are others with plenty more tattoos than me but they are not in the public eye and do not have to follow the policy. There is another person who is in the public eye in my department with tattoos on his forearm and he does not have to cover his. I have been singled out for this change and do not believe my tattoos are offensive at all. The men I have worked with for the last 3 years had to ask to see them today. What should I do? Is there anyone I can contact to ask or somewhere to get information?

In particular, there were some allegations that the Republicans stole the 2004 election, but I don't understand why, if this was true, they couldn't do it every election cycle.

In other words, why is it that when Republicans won in 2004 it was because of voter fraud, voter supression, neocon conspiracy, etc., but when Democrats took both houses of the congress in 2006, it was the will of the people (or was it)? Couldn't the Republicans have just done the same thing in 2006 as they allegedly did in 2004 (maybe they couldn't)?

What am I missing here? Serious answers only, please.

I asked an advice on what to do, because my husband dumped me with an eight month old daughter. I received a lot of hostile answers, why? All because I told them about my concerns about his ex (he broke with her shortly before the wedding, she was pregnant then), and married me. She tried to screw him for the child support, but couldn't, luckily, because she is abroad. She is absolutely ugly, and constantly complaining, and was no good for him at all. I came into his life in time for him to realize that she was no good.
Now she dumped me, and took all his assets off-shore, and I can't get a dime. I am very good looking, educated, and do not deserve this at all. Yet it seemed as if people were judging me, and being gleeful about what happened to me. We are different, she got what was her due. I am a better, superior person, and deserve compassion. Why are there so many hostile people in this world?

I am always anxious and nervous all the time. I'm sure some it is genetic, but for the most part it was because of the way I was raised. I won't bore you with details, but let's just say that my parents really messed with my head.

What are some ways I can get over this and learn how to relax? I am always judgemental and critical of how others pereceive me. I just want to be relax and be like everyone else.

side of the laptop? Many people connect a mouse to their laptop (myself for one) and I have to plug it into the left side so the cord needs to hang across the back, front or top. Wouldn't it of seemed more clever to just put it on the right side for the majority of the population?
No offense to you left handed people.
