I've been charting for 7 months now, my temps, cm, and cp and this cycle my cervix is still high at 9 dpo but it's facing forward now.
anyone know any reasons why it would still be high? I check about 3 times a day since it can change throughout the day but it's always high.

Im in the same boat as well.TTC for 6 mos. I am 7dpo now and my cervix has remained high since O. I have searched everywhere and read half a million sites. They all point to this being an early pregnancy sign. There is only one site that has conflicting data, ivillage. Ivillage says after O, if you have conceived, your cervix should be low hard closed. That was the only site out of about , seriosly at least 100, that said that. All the other info says it is an early PG sign. I know its hard to try and keep your hopes in check! The waiting is awful!

I'm going through the exact same thing. I've been searching and searching the internet for info. As far as I've found so far:

1. You could be pregnant
2. You could be ovulating late (but it sounds like you already ovulated)

So...what does that mean?!?! I'm in the same boat and only found one source that said that sometimes presence of estrogen can make your cervix "mimic" signs of fertility even when it isn't. But for the most part, almost all sources say pregnant or ovulating. I want to find out if someone had a high cervix after definite ovulation and then was NOT pregnant.

best of luck. I'm in the same boat. Let me know if you test...

The position of your uterus could have something to do with the cervix staying high but the only way to find out for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.
