Life is not sense enjoyment but rather cultivation of higher knowledge. The only difference we have with the animal life is that we can taste the hirer knowledge and purify our existence which is not available in any other forms of life like animals, trees, worms, aquatics etc.
Animals are not responsible for anything they do but we are responsible for all we do.
Human form if life is given to our soul as a gift from the Lord to purify our existence with proper shelter to a confide spiritual master and scriptures.
So, the true meaning of life starts when you make a self inquiry.
Remember one thing, behind everything there is a cause. But Lord is the cause of all causes and there is no cause for Him, that's why He is the Supreme being, the super soul who knows everyone, hears everyone but no ones knows Him.
Only through the transcendental eyes you can get a sense of the Super soul that he exists and very near to you. You can feel the presence in your heart and can enjoy the deep ecstasy when you are touched by his all pervading mercy.
That's the true meaning of human life.

When anyone asks an unanswerable question, such as this, you could give an answer of, The only meaning of your life is the fact you exist, there could be, absolutely nothing more than this as a meaning of life. If you want to give a more spiritual answer, you will learn the true meaning through reflection of your inner self. And we are all supposed to become perfect examples of self awareness which through your time on earth will lead you to a place inside where we are now aware of the sufferings of less spiritual beings around us. With this capacity we may be expected to try to raise those less fortunate to a level where they recognize the truth about the short comings themselves and attempt to be more enlightened. This in turn will raise the conscienceness of an extended number of persons who through their knowledge of their selves can effect the harmony of their community . But again it could be the first answer just as easily.

Because I have never found a definition for the meaning of life and neither have Theologians or Philosophers...it is still in debate. Our purpose in life could really be very different.

You might be able to get an idea of what your life's meaning or purpose is by analyzing the reoccurring things in your past; such as, having to move from place to place or relationship to relationship. You may be the Creator's gift to women, so you can't stay in a relationship.
I am a defender of good, destroyer of evil. I hope you're not on the other side.

Well, for one, neither of us is currently living the life of the other person. Secondly, that question is really a rhetorical one since both of us must ask it but must answer it ourselves.
