Sloe gin, southern comfort, absolut vodka, add orange juice and ice and stir. This drink is called a slow comfortable screw.

My absolute favorite is to have a delicious and fancy martini. There was a restaurant that had this WONDERFUL key lime martini with graham cracker crumbs on the rim. So yummy.

But alas, if I'm trying to be somewhat economical, I usually opt for a vodka tonic with a lime. It tastes good to me and gets the job done :-)

COSMOPOLITAN! Add some flair and make it pomegranate or blueberry.

1 cup vodka
3/4 cup pom wonderful pomegranate juice
1/2 cup Cointreau liqueur or triple sec
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
limes, twist for garnish
pomegranate seeds, for garnish


1. Combine vodka, pom juice, lime juice in a container.
2. In small batches, shake mixture with ice in a cocktail shaker, then strain into chilled cocktail glasses.
3. Garnish with lime twist, and a few fresh pomegranate seeds if desired.
