So im going snowboarding again. This year I would like a softshell jacket so movement is not as restricted. Ive narrowed it down to two jackets. Both from the north face, the "sentinel" and "apex magic". The sentinel is rated at 0 cfm and apex magic at 20 cfm. This is wind resistance. My question is, I like the look of the apex magic better, but it is not rated anywhere near the other one. Will the apex magic keep me just as warm? By the way ill be in colorado, so expect temperatures of in between 30-50. would 0 cfm keep me too warm? also, feel free to suggest other softshell jackets you think would work, as long as it's under $250.

with my SS# on it of course - as one would mail a check in April...

will it still credit to my account?
I think I owe quite a bit, in back taxes -

I would rather start paying and then perhaps get an eventual refund, rather than try to save up enough to pay a lump sum (that'll never happen). I trust the tax system to keep good accounting, but if that's not the way the system works, I don't want to lose money.

We are moving to a 2 bedroom and I am wondering if i should use the 2nd bedroom as a nursery and put the crib in there with my 7 month old son. Or should we keep our child sleeping in our room (his crib in our room) and use the 2nd room for our vanity table dresser and our desk. I like the idea of giving my child his own very colorful bright room but am very scared to let him sleep in his own room. The two rooms are right next to eachother.. share a wall and both doors are also right next to eachother... WHAT DO YOU THINK?

OK! CarMax is offering me $11,000 for my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. The appraisal was great. The car is in great condition, but I have high miles. I still owe $16,000 on the car. So if I take the $11,000 I will stil have to pay off $5,000 more. Do I take the deal? I really want to save and my car payments are too high. I need to get rid of the car but is this the way to go? What offer should I take for this car? One guy said have someone take over payments and pay it off, but then I will not make any money to get a smaller junk car! HELP! HELP!I really want my 08 to be a great year financially but money matters!

I'm a 21 year old guy. I work out usually about 5-6 days a week. Four of those are lifting free weights, and I usually do HIIT on a stationary bike (too cold to run) 5 or 6 days a week. The thing is though that sometimes I feel like I'm always hungry. I mean breakfast is usually the same--a bowl of KIX and a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with skim milk. KIX isn't so sugary and I'm not giving up my HBO. Lunch is usually the same too--A turkey sandwich with cheese and little bit of that fake butter stuff : P and then usually I'll have a non-fat yogurt and some sort of fruit or a piece of corn bread as a treat. Between those two at work I'll usually have a pear or an apple while I'm on break. After I eat lunch I work out and have my post-workout snack afterward. By the time my dad serves supper I'm just starting to get hungry again and he generally makes healthy stuff. After that I usually don't eat but I mean what's an ok snack to have at night--I get hungry! It just seems like a couple

Here's my story:

My brothers and I have our elderly mother living in her own home. She is with a caregiver because she has been paralyzed since her stroke back in '96. She is unable to do anything for herself. We pay what we can and some caregivers seem to be OK with that.

Our biggest concern is over the years, after having quite a number of caregivers come and go, we have had soooo much stuff stolen. When my mother comes to visit me here in Canada, we believe her house gets "broken in to" through windows that have been purposely been fixed to allow access into the house. My mother just returned after being away for about 3 months and her big TV is gone along with some other items. This has been going on for years.

Though she can't do much, the TV is really all she has to the outside world. She is devastated. We could get her another TV but that could be stolen as well.

This is so frustrating for our family. What can we do to stop this madness???

My sister's laugh is extremely infectious to anyone who overhears her, and when she's laughing really hard, it comes out as "Yek yek yek." Anyone nearby has tears coming out of their eyes from laughing at her laughter. I also have a co-worker whose laugh is always, "Hee how hmm hmm." You hear that 3 times in a row and you're on the floor. He has no idea we're laughing harder at him than the original funny thing. How about for you?
