bidets are for one thing and toilets for another. I still see many houses with bidets.

Typically you use a bidet after the toilet to clean your genitals or anus. It's also a good foot cleaner

Bidet or not Bidet, that is the questions. Well, do you want to poop in a pail and wash your butt or would you rather poop in the toilet and use bum wad. The choice is yours.

They are totally different.
A bidet is used for cleansing the area, while a toilet is used for your waste.
