I know that insulators hold their valence electrons tightly, while conductors hold them loosely. But why? Is it because metals want to lose electrons, so they're held loosely?

How do I find out if I'm sexually satisfying my wife. I ask her and she says yes, but how do I know if she's just being nice. And also how can I found out how freaky she'll get without upsetting her. theres this guy i just met a few days ago and i have a crush on him. i told my friend about him and shes like "U LIKE HIM?" imlike kinda dont tell him, and she rides his bus. the next day my friend said that he foundout that 'someone" likes him, he kept bugging her about it and she told him it was me that likes him, and he said"oh yea ive talked to her shes cute" and she asked me what i wanted her to say too him, i said :tell him i think hes really cute !" LOL

hes in none of my classes, i dont know what to do, and btw is it normal to feel a bit sick to my stomach at the though of it? like nervousness.

im in my single digets. I am not telling you my age. My parents are really nice but my dad works at nite and my mom gets home late and my dad sleeps till 8:30 and thats my bed time an my mom gets home and all she does is lays on the couch. we really never have dinner as a family. when i get home from school nobody helps me with my homework i am not allowed to have playdates. I dont always eat dinner every nite. I think I need glasses and I asked my mom to make an appointment at the eye checker and she says shell get to it and she never does. They are so nice but dont pay enough attention to me they dont starve me but i cant eat dinner every single nite cause no body can make it for me. I have a cat and a laptop that made me happy but they think thats all I need. Im afraid to tell them. PS sorry i wrote so much

so, my friend saw this girl who i like watching me the other day. ive caught her looking at me before, and he has seen her watching me before also.

however, when she and i saw each other in the hall today (walking towards each other) she decided to look off sort of at the wall (didnt turn her head, just her eyes) rather then straight forward at me.

ive told my friends who know her that i like her.. but they told me that another guy who is always hanging around with her and her like each other.. alot. she basically only talks to this other guy.. and i my friends told me she has pretty deep feelings for him. she got mad when a friend of mine "stage kissed" him.

i am two years older then her (senior vs. sophmore) and much taller. she doesnt talk to many guys, so perhaps she just doesnt know what to do or is afraid it will look like shes starring?

is it possible she just wants to know if she has my attention / likes to know that someone is paying attention to her?

Is it "normal" to see yourself drastically different in photographs than how you see yourself in the mirror? Not only do I see myself as a different person in photos but every single time I look in the mirror, I see myself differently. Is this a sign of poor self-image or a psychological problem that I need help with?

I've installed the latest Firefox out this week (2.0.0.11). Since then I've noticed that some pages don't display like they used to. For instance the menu bar at the left of YAHOO's main page is often blank. If I hit the RELOAD or move the cursor over the area, it will appear. Also, like in some chat rooms, my system will suddenly freeze.

My computer is using Windows 98se for an OS, I have a n 800 MHZ Pentium III processor and 256 MB RAM. My AV and firewall are provided by my ISP and are part of EZ TRUST.
