well you could have some one dress up as james bond go in and say happy new year. Also you could have a bad guy have them have fake guns do a little play into the middle of the party. You know make look fun have them interact with the guests and stuff. a game could be playing a james bond video game if you have one. Or watching the movies or having james bond scene it if they have it .One game could be to sneak around the house of party area and play with nerf darts and stuff or just play around. Hide and seek for the kids that kind of stuff.

If you are looking to host it yourself... then it depends how many people are attending.
A few girls round = cocktail & buffet nite. Just buy some finger food from iceland, and get everyone to each bring a different cocktail mix with them (check prior so not to repeat, you want to mix many different cocktails).
Get some cocktail glasses from argos, and BOB'S YOUR UNCLE!!!
To reduce your costs, you can also get guests to bring a different dish each too!!!
However, If you want to go out, then stay close to home!!! REMEMBER CAB FARES ARE DOUBLE!!!!!!
