We're thinking of vacationing in Central or South America, but we don't like crowded beaches and touristy places like Cancun or Rio. We want to find a place to simply kick back and relax. We DON'T like the bar scene or shopping. We DO like the outdoors, hiking, and immersing ourselves in foreign culture. What would you suggest?

I am fairly klutzy but oddly enough I can't walk in chunky heels without tripping all the time. You would think the extra heel would help that but it doesn't, at least for me.

If someone who was put on 2 years probation for grand theft (it was a laptop, that was returned the same night, but plaintiff decided to press charges) and then fails their 1st drug test after being put on probation & was put in jail.. how long will that person be in jail?

I would prefer answers from Evangelicals, but anyone may answer. I just don't want answers that say something like, "They're the fundies on here." Or really anything that has to do with the people who are on here. This forum especially has little to do with the realities of the outside world. If I were to walk outside, and asked a hundred people, What is an Evangelical? what would the common answer be? I'm 20 years old and live in vegas. I dont' drive nor have any desire to do so. My parents want me to drive badly because I go to college. Yet they never made an attempt to teach me themselves. My boyfriend has let me drive before and so have I with my friends. I find that I drive with very jittery nerves and I am no good at driving. I try to explain this to my parents, and they think it's ridiculous and that driving is easy. What should I do?

I got an email from an ex recently asking to meet for lunch. I declined but the email stuck with me as if there was something that needs resolution. This guy, I found out after 2 years together, was cheating on me with numberous other men and as the puzzle pieces started to fit together I realized he was an accomplished liar as well as a cheat. Ok I am looking to get an apartment tonight, but my credit is bad. 500 or so. I make about $3200 a month gross and the rent is 650. They told me they would know right away if I am approved or not. I just don't want to waste my money if I know I am not gonna get approved. The apartment complex is mckinnley and the deposit they want is $200, which is not a problem, but it is $50 to apply and I do not want to get turned down and loose $50. Please help

recommendations as far as good resorts to stay at? never been to mexico. my husband and i are going on a belated honeymoon so we don't need kids stuff. the resort where the heartbreak kid was filmed in cabo san lucas looked nice but probably pricey.
