I am fairly klutzy but oddly enough I can't walk in chunky heels without tripping all the time. You would think the extra heel would help that but it doesn't, at least for me.

I don't have a huge problem walking in either, but chunky are easier for me. I prefer spike heels, though.

I find it easier in chunky heels but then again, I haven't had much practice on spikes.

definitel chunky... you have more on your foot... the spiked heels have to support your weight on a 1/2 inch wide spike. chunk shoes are pretty much like walking on a brick as opposed to a spike!
