Hola! I have been in Cabo for many years now and I often make the rounds through the various all-inclusives.

Right now, I would recommend going to Dreams due to your comment about belated honeymoon. It is very nice and very romantic. My second recommendation would be the RIU Santa Fe or the RIU Palace for price value. Then the Marquis or the Hilton. There are also some lovely places in the town of San jose del cabo (20 mins from Cabo but closer to the airport)- The Crowne Plaza and the Royal Solaris, Costa Azul and Mayan Palace, the Presidente. All great! For more risky encounters some people pick the clothing optional swinger place Desire!

The resort that was used during the filming of the heartbreak kid was the Esperanza Resort - NOT the Westin! It would SHOCK you how much it costs to stay there, but some people really feel its worth it.

The resort the movie was filmed at was the Westin, which is not an AI property.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are looking for a "Beach" destination, Cabo may not be the best choice, as most beaches there are unswimmable due to the undertow.

But a few AI resorts to look at in Cabo are Dreams, Riu Palace Los Cabos & Riu Sante Fe (scheduled to open in Jan 08).

If you prefer Caribbean blue waters, look at Riviera Maya or Cancun. A favorite of mine in Riviera Maya is the El Dorado Seaside Suites, its adult-only, jacuzzis in each room, 4 poster beds, 24 hr room service, no buffets, and reasonably priced for an upscale resort.

We stayed at Dreams Cancun and the resort and staff were wonderful. We witnessed many wedding there and honeymooners.

They have a Dreams Resort in Los Cabos, I would check that hotel out by checking prices on this website

Apple vacation has some sort of affiliation with Dreams, I don't know if they are part owners or not.

Here is Dreams Website

Good Luck and congrats)

i would also recommend any where from cancun to playa del carmen. and if u go to the area around play del carmen(which is a beautiful area) go vist xcaret ecological park where you can swim with dolphins, swim in the under water caves, and go on a sea walk. another place to vist in that area is tulum and the ruins there. its the only mayan temples and civilivation that is right on the beach.
