John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
God didn't send his Son to condemn, but you're condemned?
What if John 3:16 is God & Son Limited: Law (on high)?
What if John 3:17 is God & Son Unlimited: Grace (higher)?
Remembering John is the only "verily verily" gospel account.
What if John 3:17 is allegorized...which things are allegory:
God did not send his Son to condemn(law) the world,
but that the world through him might be saved(graced)?
