On a nasty stranger?

Not on a stranger, but I accidentally maced my Hubby. I always carry mace and one day I was in our headquarters of our corporation and was in the back of a warehouse, it was almost dark outside and I only had turned one light on. I was checking because I thought I had seen something on a monitor. Well, little did I see something and unfortunately that something was my Hubby and a crew returning in. When he stepped up behind him I maced him good. Not only did I get him, but I got a couple of the guys too!!!!! Now whenever they see me with my mace they let me know that they're there and friendly. It's become somewhat of a joke, but it's not really funny to me. Everyone was OK after a trip to the local ER. I was horribly embarrassed.

your friend is partially right. some people have a high tolerance for this stuff and it does not always work.i used a foam spray that had a oil base.you could not get that stuff off of you.alcohol based does not last veru long whereas oild based last about 1 1/2 hours.oil has more of a chance working because it will soak in better. ----------------retired texas deputy sheriff-----------------

Yes 2 years ago, I was leaving the Mall, and they have a parking garage and this guy came up from behind me and tried to take my bag (during the holiday season) and luckily I had it on my keychain which I had in my hands.. Scary :(

i used pepper spray on a vicious dog while making rounds on a job that i had.got him right in the eyes.he stopped growling and backed away long enough for me to leave the property.i was proud of my aim.

I take walks late at night.
I don't iwn mace or pepper spray.
Luckily I have needed to use it!!!!

I've never mace'd anyone, I'm more of a longsword or broadsword kinda guy.
and pepper is for eggs, not spraying at strangers.

No, but only because here in NZ it has only been issued to our police officers...and not to the general public, bummer that! LOL :)
