Talk to a recruiter. Who gets what bonuses can change on a weekly basis, and it's unlikely you'll find real, first-hand info here.

Good luck on your enlistment.

What is "Da Navy?"

You need to talk to your recruiter about any special programs like this regarding advancement and enlistment bonuses.

E3 is normally earned after being in 12 months if you entered as an E1. 6 months as an E1, 6 months as E2 then you get to be an E3. 9 more months until you can take the exam to make E4.

Spelling does count in the Navy.

if you are eligible for a bonus, it will be offered to you when you enlist. If it ain't in your contract, you don't get a bonus. not everyone qualifies, not even people in the same rating. who gets them can literally change daily.

what your paygrade is at the end of A school depends on what paygrade you went in at, what your contract says and how long A school is. there is minimum time in grade/service before you can be promoted..anywhere from 6-9 months in each grade up until E4.
