I barely started taking my birth control for this month, but yesterday I took some prescriptions for a bladder infection and nasal drip. Does that mean my birth control is uneffective? If so, how long does it take for it to become effective?

when an employer wants to hire someone i know that they have to do the whole background ckeck including refferences from your previous employers.

when they contact your old bosses what kind of questions do they ask? do they ask reasons for my leaving?

how about questions like if i quit or got fired?

Which methods (i.e., who do they speak to) to find out how many skeletons you have in your closet--or "walk-in" closet, as the case may be. = )

If they interviewed current or former friends, wouldn't this blow their cover? After all, what kind of friend would give out potentially-damaging information about another friend? Or, even if they did (such as if they felt under duress by the detective's questioning), wouldn't they tell the friend about what had happened?

What if someone is a loner who has new current (or former) friends? Wouldn't that make the PI's job difficult?

What if your credit is squeaky-clean? ...or if your prior employers don't remember you?

Further, how do you substantiate rumor/hearsay?

friends! yesterday i went town with my husband & in-laws, my husband 's birthday is coming on 8th of dec. so i decided to buy him some present , so i asked him that i wanted to be alone for a while because i want somthing private, he left me there & went towards his parents. i bought the present & than went towards them but my mother in law asked me that what i had in that shopping bag, i said its nothing, but she insisted that i must show her, i told her that its nothing it is just a present for him(my husband) she insulted me so much infront of my husband & his father & said why did i buy it,i was about to cry its was really hard for me to controll myself but i did.but you know my husband said that u should not buy these things . he took his mother's side, i m so upset, i bought something for him with so much love but they didnt care.. what should i do now?? i wana put that present in the bin....

my friend and i are planning to throw a party for the end of the basketball season. our school team is called the cloverfield mustangs and our coolrs are green black and silver. so everyone has to wear those colors. anyway we needed to come up with a cool name for the invitations.. can someone please help us come up with one? 10 points for best answer. thanks sooooooo much!!!

i have believed it for a long time and have taken big steps so that now i dont emit any emissions or at least very little i noticed at first 10 years ago when it was surprisingly warm for winter where i live im a cold weather kind of guy so im not to happy about global warming...anyway each year winters been getting warmer and warmer and coming later and later

I'm auditioning for Seussical Jr. at a local community theatre. They're looking for ages 7-18, and I'm 15. I know the director really well (I just got done doing a show with her) and she really likes me. She has actually said that she could see me as Gertrude and that I had the right kind of voice for it. So I'm going for Gertrude.

I'm thinking about singing "I Can Hear the Bells" from the Broadway musical 'Hairspray'. She [the director] likes this musical, and doesn't care if we sing an overdone song. (Although it's not really that overdone around here.) Does it seem like a good fit for Gertrude? If not, does anyone have a better suggestion? (If you suggest anything from 'Wicked' you will NOT be getting best answer lol)

I work at a Christian University in the Maintenance Department. Recently we started having a mandatory meeting on Monday. The first part of the meeting was basic shop talk and ends with a short Bible based devotional and prayer. The devotional material is straight from the Bible, but if it were to have a slant one way it would be Nazarene to Non-denominational. We have a group of Mexicans that did not want to attend as they thought it would be like changing their faith. Is this a true sentiment? Is it wrong for Catholics to attend other denominational meetings that are Christian?

I think i have a sort of problem because in the past four months, i am constantly sad all the time and this is spiralling out of control. i used to have really great friends who i was loyal to until they went nasty and went immaturish. they became people who only lived to fool around and laugh at people and crack jokes. i never found them funny and they cant take things seriously and they usually take bad situations as a joke. but they countlessly make fun out of everything and its driving me to the bend. i coudnt ditch them because i gave them chances and they expected me to be fun and be just like them. to entertain each other and be fun to be with. they became class clowns and i feel i have to be like them so i try to be funny too and hope to be accepted so they ignore me because i aint like them. now i cant stop and i feel i have to be fun to everyone and its making me annoyed. i always worry how i can be like them and accept me. i cant stop worrying about this!!!! thx alot!

Does anyone have any advice on what to do? These jeans are literally caked with mud. I have 2 jobs and 2 young kids. I can barely keep up with the normal laundry and I don't want to ruin the washer. He claims he cannot scrape off the mud before he comes in. I don't think that even makes sense!!! What do you think?
