Where did you get the idea or assume as a truth that all are born as Atheists?
Please for your own information look up the word Atheists in a dictionary. I did it for you in the Yahoo Reference dictionary here:
Atheists - Noun - NOUN:
One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.
I, in my view take the position that one is born in a neutral position and has not first does not deny the existence of a God and does not believe of disbelieve for such is a learned act or action that must take place when the God idea is planted as a seed and not until.. The mere fact this idea is not implanted in ones mind does not automatically place one into a specific group, except of course in your expressed position or standard by your question.
Absolutely I may be wrong and I do accept that as a possibility. If you think I am, my email in in my profile.
Do have a good day and thanks for the opportunity to express my view.

No one is born religious! You are brought up by your family and their beliefs, but it doesn't mean to say that it is right. Religion is an ideal imposed on you by your parents or the fanatical country you live in. You have only to look at the muslim religion to see how false their religion is. They want to kill a woman who's class of children named a bear after - whatever his name is! Yet they have a bear on sale at this moment called ADAM, who is a higher god than Mohamid! They sentence a woman to six months in prison because she was raped fourteen times by six men! What say religion!!!

I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 10 years old, but at age 49, I got a hunger for the Lord. I looked back at my life and I saw for the first time the hand of God on my life. After that I heard God's voice and He did something just to assure me of who He is. When you search for Him with all of your heart, you will find Him and He will make Himself known to you.

I don't agree with your logic. Ancient civilizations all worshiped something: whether it was the Nile River like the Egyptians, or nature itself like the native Americans, every civilizations has decided to worship one form of God or another.
Atheism is a rather new concept.
For me I believe God has set eternity in our hearts and this desire to know our own mortality should drive us to search for answers.
Ecclesiastes 3 (New International Version): 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

I was not born an atheist. I grew up with the knowledge that God existed. I just did not know Him personally.
Knowing Him personally began when I was 14.

I wasn't an atheist, though. I was Wiccan. I was born into a Christian family, and then after years of abuse from a former fiance, I turned from God.
He was patient though. He called me back. PRAISE THE LORD! I do so love my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!
(also, i have an atheist friend that teased me when i got saved.... he asked how my "invisible sky friend" was doing.... and i told him it wasn't that big of a stretch for me... he had no problem with my Wiccan beliefs before and during that time I had MULTIPLE "invisible sky friends," as it's a pantheistic religion. he had nothing to say to that. PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY!)
