The teacher has been sentenced to 15 days.

Now, some stupid nutters are calling for her to be executed.

I have since read quite a few people on Yahoo saying we should bomb Sudan and even 'nuke em' (their terminology, not mine) thus killing hundreds, if not thousnads of innocent children, elderly, people who disgaree with their government and people who simply don;t know about the case.

Please enlighten me as to why these people who want the country bombed aren;t as crazy and as evil as the idiots marching in Sudan calling for her execution?

Does the fact that some of the Brits who are calling for this make us all evil as we come from the same country as them, or should we be distinguished from these idiots too.

We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house last night and had to call a locksmith. Only the bottom lock was locked (not the deadbolt) and he couldn't open it with pins so he used these pumps to move the door and the door frame apart until it popped open. But after he left and I got in the house and locked it I noticed that the space between the door and the frame seemed larger than before. It was close at top and bottom, but far apart in the middle (almost far enough that the bottom lock doesn't go all the way in the hole). Am I imagining things or can this way of opening the door do this? Will it eventually move back in place on its own or is there something I can do to inch it closer together? Thanks!

While walking down the street during a visit to Chicago a woman stopped me and asked me if I'd be interested in a meditation room. Does anyone know what belief or religion this would be for?

Hi. I'm planning on installing a wood burning stove in my basement. I want to avoid the expense of taking the chimney up through my house and out the roof. Is there a legal and safe alternative to doing this? Thanks for your advice.

Is that when they yell out "Blue 42" and stuff like that? How does everyone know what that means?? I mean I'm sure it's not automatically embedded in everyone's minds?? Basically what is involved in calling a play?

My brother-in-law is going overseas, right after Christmas. I am completely clueless as to what would be a good gift. Any suggestions would be highly appreicated.

when you're a married couple..What do you do when you have no family to look after your kids and you're surrounded by freak'n druggies. We're in a bad area, currently looking to move and the school my daughters in isn't the best so I don't want to ask about babysitting there. We're in an extremely small town and we're dying to get out. Last time I went out was this past July and prior to that 3 yrs ago to my father-in-laws funeral. I can't get the same babysitter (my neighbours kid) long long story ended in the mullet lady getting hurt!

Do I just suck it up and try to trust a stranger with my kids that I don't know or do what I currently do and have date nights inside the house when the kids are asleep?

Cheers!

My father-in-laws marriage is falling apart. Why? He's in la la land day in and day out. He doesn't concentrate well on tasks, and recently was placed on disability with his employer because he can't stay focused at work.

Does he want to get a new job? No. Is he concerned about how the bills are going to be paid? No.

He's not concerned about anything. He is a Christian but has a warped view and just repeats "God will provide".

He doesn't concern himself with any of the affairs of the house, paying bills, organizing the budget, cleaning the home, doing laundry, keeping himself showered and clean.

He does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He recently went to a counselor provided by his work. He didn't even mention he was having marital problems! Yet that's all he can talk about when I'm around him.

I'm coming to the conclusion there is something wrong in his head. He's had brain surgery twice in his life, but he'll never admit he has a problem.

What's wrong?

They found some abnormalities on the ultrasound, that could mean my baby has Down or Edwards syndrome. So I had my blood drawn for AFP screening and it turned out great, 1:10 000. BUT, that might be because I am young (25) and the test was done at almost 20 weeks, while it is most accurate when done between 15 - 18 wks. So I am wondering if my baby is really healthy or there is still a chance he has one of those syndromes? I refused amnio as I would keep the baby no matter what and I don't want to loose my hope.

Some people (damn long hairs, a.k.a Hippies) go on and on and on...and on...about how global warming is going to make it difficult for future generations to get to Argos on a Saturday and collect the dole cheque each week because the rising sea levels as a result of Global Warming will flood all the roads blah blah blah.

But surely tackling these problems caused by Global Warming will keep the future generations in jobs i.e boat making, conservation, flood defences, lifeguarding and Tea Towel manufacture? Will it not?
