I just hope that they are smart enough to see that we've been duped all these years.
Maybe our children will have one long collective laugh at us.

LOL - it will give them something to do, all right. They'll spend just as much time arguing over the "new ice age" as we spend on global warming. And a few generations from that will be arguing over global warming. Right up until the earth either freezes over or burns up. But I figure Jesus will come and the world will end in 2012 anyway. And if not, I'll have to drink the purple Kool-Aid so I can take a comet to Heaven.

It will cause problems for future generations, IF we don't act now. If we tackle the problems now, it will slow it down again. Man has sped up the natural process of global warming by dumping all the carbon emissions in the air. So if we start now, by finding alternative fuel sources, like ethanol, hydrogen, etc... and reduce the use of fossil fuels, we can surely slow down the process.
BUT: The nonbelievers have to cooperate too, or it will not work. If people continue to ignore the problem , and continue their glutinous overconsumption, it won't help the situation.
there are so many simple things people can do that won't change their daily lives, it's so easy. We could fight the obesity trend in the process, by more people walking instead of driving.

Ahem, these long haired hippies are joined by 95% of world scientists. Those not arsed about global warming are joined by Bush and his religios cohorts. Whose side are you on pal?

Yes it will give Future Generations something to do. Especially if the Gloom and Doom forcasts that go along with the hype about GW is real and not just a hypothesis. (Oh BTW - Do the GW fanatics that believe this is being caused by humans know what hypothesis means?)
I joked with my honey this morning and told him lets go back and live a million years ago when Earth was a lot warmer and Greenland wasn't covered in a thick sheet of Ice. Sorry folks when I think about it rationally I say bring it on and not just a small way like in the 1300's, but a major way to change the earths climate to back to the way it used to be a million years ago.

Go along with "Ricado" the idiots today think they can reverse mother nature, and all it will do is c.o.ck a snoot at us.
if man let off all the atomic weapons at the same time, the atmosphere would correct itself in a few years (apart) from radiation, and even this is not proven, there are now birds and animals habiting the whole area of Chernoble after just a few years, "we can destroy ourselves", but not with man made Co2

NO, because eventually temperatures will raise so high , it will melt most things and possibly burn your skin as soon has you leave the house !! Therefore it will be hard to do most of those jobs and flooding will flood houses aswell and factories, and they cant tell when there is going to be flooding so therefore the flood defences wont be made in time because its unpredicatable and costs will be so high it wont help anyone.

I'm no hippy but that's no way to view the most serious threat human kind has ever faced (probably). Many people will be displaced and I can assure you, will lose their jobs and unemployment will rise massively.
