i am going on a cruise to mexico from december 26-january3, and it is stopping in cabo ixtapa acapulco and puerto vallarta, while in those places is there anything i should do, or things i should buy??? hows the weather there in those places at that time?? thanks so much! henry

I bought linksys usb wifi adopter. first two days I got 3points on signal strength and I was ble to access net. but after that i am not getting any points on signal strength but access points says 34% and name also appears. I am not able to access signal. I extended usb but no use. help me,i tried with kitchen utensils as signal booster but no use. outside my building people still access wifi,any problem with my adopter

Why do cemeteries seem so much more scary at night then in the day time?
The reason I am asking this is because I accidently took a wrong turn outside a new city and I couldn't find anywhere to turn around because the road was too narrow when I finally came up on an entrance to a cemetery,but due to the angle of the turn to get onto it,I couldn't just pull in and then back out,so I had to drive into it,as I was driving thru it I became very frightened and had this very strong weak feeling come all over my body,(I hate to say this,but I thought I was going to pee myself).
I have been in cemeteries in the daytime and never was scared.
Have you ever been in a cemetery at night and feel like I did?

Ok...there's this dude at school and he follows me. It's like he's a stalker. He tries talking to me and I don't know him. I try telling him to like go away but he just keeps coming back. my IUD expires October '10. my husband, myself, and many family members think that i may have a difficult time getting pregnant b/c of my past period woes (i've gone up to a year and a half without a period, for no reason what-so-ever, my GYN coudn't even figure out why it went AWOL). now i'm in the same situation, even though i have my IUD this is still all too familiar territory for me, and does not help ease my fertility concerns. i have been mulling over the decision in my head to not get my dental hygiene degree, get a medical coding and billing degree (which is half the time in school) and be a stay at home mom and have my first baby at 27 or 28. not many people i know would like to help me decide this because they all had their hopes on me being a dentist, then had to accept that i just wanted to be a hygenist. now this. i don't know what would be best for me, i'm only 25. i don't want to discuss it with hubby (of 3 years) just yet. i need to think. thoughts or advice?

This is how it happened...I just finished the household chores for the night and was preparing to go to bed, when I heard a noise in the front of the house. I opened the door to the front room and to my surprise, Santa himself stepped out from behind the Christmas tree.

He placed his finger over his mouth so I would not cry out. "What are you doing?" I started to ask. The words choked up in my throat, and I saw he had tears in his eyes. His usual jolly manner was gone. Gone was the eager, boisterous soul we all know.

He then answered me with a simple statement.
"TEACH THE CHILDREN!"

I was puzzled; what did he mean? He anticipated my question, and with one quick movement brought forth a miniature toy bag from behind the tree. As I stood bewildered, Santa said,
"Teach the children! Teach them the old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that now-a-days Christmas has forgotten."

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a FIR TREE and placed it before the mantle.
"Teach the children that the pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's thoughts turning toward heaven."

He again reached into his bag and pulled out a brilliant STAR.
"Teach the children that the star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise."

He then reached into his bag and pulled out a CANDLE.
"Teach the children that the candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness."

Once again he reached into his bag and removed a WREATH and placed it on the tree.
"Teach the children that the wreath symbolizes the real nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love is one continuous round of affection."

He then pulled from his bag an ornament of himself.
"Teach the children that I, St. Nick, ( Santa Claus ) symbolize the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December."


He then brought out a HOLLY LEAF.
"Teach the children that the holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly represents the blood shed by Him."

Next he pulled from his bag a GIFT and said,
"Teach the children that God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON..." "Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

"Teach the children that the wise men bowed before the Holy BABE and presented HIM with gold, frankincense and myrrh. We should always give gifts in the same spirit of the wise men."

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a CANDY CANE and hung it on the tree.
"Teach the children that the candy cane represents the shepherds' crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The candy cane is the symbol that we are our brother's keeper."


He reached in again and pulled out an ANGEL.
"Teach the children that it was the angels that heralded in the glorious news of the Savior's birth. The angels sang 'Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace and good will toward men."

Suddenly I heard a soft twinkling sound, and from his bag he pulled out a BELL.
"Teach the children that as the lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold. The bell symbolizes guidance and return."

Santa looked back and was pleased. He looked back at me and I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. He said,
"Remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the center, for I am but a humble servant of the One that is, and I bow down to worship HIM, our LORD, our GOD."

Looking at lights

getting belts tight

trying to save up for Christmas time

Deliberation

Prayers about getting right gifts

Working extra

staying up late

all well worth it

cause it will be great

That's Christmas time, Christmas time

so I wrote this rhyme

With that in mind

When I was just thinking 'bout Christmas time



I wonder what's the magic

is it all about the kids?

their happy smiling faces so excited in your midst?

Or is it just the special time with family and friends?

Or is it just the Joy at Christmas that never seems to end?

What is it about Christmas

I ask myself tonight

That filled me up with Joy

and so much sweet delight?



I think it was anticipation

to see my loved ones be

so special in their thoughtfulness in having love towards me!

I think about the times and all the Christmas's of suprises

I think about the fudge and how my Joy just always rises

When I"d think about my family opening presents just from me

That they would be so happy to find it "be their cup of tea"

To know that I had made them smile

to know that they were Jolly

surrounded by the Christmas sounds of Laughter, gifts and Holly

I think it's all the wonder

that goes back to when we were young

and think the sky's the limit and no wishes are too dumb

I think it's just the suprises

the fun

and all the laughter

the pretty wrapping paper

the lights

the sparkle

the snow

What's so special about Christmas?

I don't know

I just don't know

but please God don't let it be destroyed

(I know this poem is really silly I stopped rhyming!)

Ok so there's this guy I met on the Internet. He's Indian. I've known him for 2 years now and he's my bestest buddy online. He asked me for my number yesterday. I am not sure whether I should give it to him. I do trust him but I'm a tad anxious. If I give him my number he would be able to find all my information..my address, etc.
I've always heard nasty stories about online friendship and love and the like. Never heard good stories so I'm just a little worried. Should I go ahead and give him my number? Should I wait? Any good/bad online experiences?
