I am flying to Germany to visit with my mom for almost three weeks and three of my children are going with me. I am so exited , I haven't been there in 8 years and my mom is 78 , it is time for me to go see her.
And I don't get to put up no Christmas deco this year, oh how I love that, that saves a lot of work . I thank God for that.
God bless you all on Christmas and during the Holiday Season !!!

When I was younger and in my anti-establishment phase, I didn't agree with X-Mas, that it was more about shopping than the goodwill. Now that I'm on my own I realize I was just being narrow minded, whether X-Mas is connected to religion or not (and I'm not Christian), I think it's more about sharing goodwill and pleasantries, and what better way to do that than show someone you care with a thoughtful gift. Now I do agree some people go a little bit overboard and get greedy, but for the most part I think it's just a lovely time of year. Plus, people have been complaining Christmas is too comercialized for years, Harriett Beacher Stowe being the first to put her frustrations on paper in the 1800s!

christmas is not only a time for giving but also for recieving..........AWESOME HOLIDAY FOOD. i just cant get over the mashed potatoes and stuffing, my grandmother always makes homemade rolls and my uncles from OHIO, a pretty long ways away from me, come to visit. of course better than the food or presents is the snow,( i never get cold for some reason, even when im outside with snow all around me in a short sleeve shirt), i love building forts and then ganging up on my older brother with my other siblings. and who can forget the fantastic smells of the holday potpourri my father always makes. i love looking at the tree being decorated by a nice hot fire and all the tv specials that come on. every christmas night we stay up late and read the night before christmas. it is by far my favorite holiday. but for some reason i havnt been able to come up with any ideas on what i want for christmas. strange i know, but im just one of those guys i guess, but im really looking forward to all the new movies that are coming out, esppecially the golden compass, i suggest that if you have not yet read it , then WAIT TILL AFTER YOU SEE THE MOVIE OR IT COULD DESTROY IT, trust me i was completely horrified at what they did to eragon and im sure that this will be no different
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT, seeing as how its already past my bedtime.

Aww, it's cool...even though it evolved over a period of time...and has come to what it is now? I don't resent it because i have grown to know the truth about it...but, it offers a time to set back and enjoy another holiday that everyone shares in..in fact, the whole world! So, it's cool..even in WW2, they called a cease fire on christmas day on both sides...now, that's an impact! So, i think about things like this too....we go in debt...but, it's a time for everyone, especially kids...for us to give and share, and i find it "unifies" us just for a little while...like a breath of fresh air...where for a time, people are really people for a time before things go back to what they were... "Peace!" :)

Christmas is NOT birth time of Jesus, nor Christ.
Christmas is NOT nicest time of year, but worst.
There were NOT 3 magi, but 3 gifts from Babylon Jews.
Wise men did NOT visit a babe, in a manger, at Bethlehem.
Shepherds do NOT abide flocks in fields at night at Xmas.
Xmas Tree is NOT Godly, but vain (Babylon) custom Jer 10.
King of the Jews (Law) is NOT The King of Kings (Grace).

It's all about the Birth of Jesus and to Celebrate his Birth. We have Christmas because of the Christ Child that died on the Cross when he was older which why we have Easter Resurrection day.
It's all about spending time with family and friends and giving them things then receiving.

I think I used to like Christmas more when I was younger (I still love it though). Hopefully Christmas will be snowy this year! Started snowing today where I am!

Christmas is just one of many holidays that the Christians raped from pagans (more specifically earth religions) and perverted it, lied about it, and slapped a makeshift Christian name/meaning onto it. Christmas, Easter, Halloween, all the most popular holidays were taken from pagan belief.
I still celebrate though...just in my own little ways.
