If you haven't totally removed and reinstalled the USB wireless drivers, do so!

USB wireless has this issue, actually sometimes very often. The drivers seem to get corrupted very easily and when they do, the units stop working. So try that.

Also, if you haven't rebooted the AP try that too. Just unplug it, wait 60 seconds and reconnect it. I have had AP's just lockup and nothing works - I have a linksys unit that does this once every week or two.. no reason it just does.

If that fails, you may simply have a bad adapter. I have had to return two or three for this very reason! They work a few days and just well die. I now only use a USB adapter when there is no other adapter possible! PCMCIA, PCI, external bridges, anything other than USB.. they just seem more stable.

Two things:
1) Make sure there's no MAC address filter on your router. Your MAC address is a unique address to your computer, so if your router has a list of these as the only computers to access it, you wouldn't be able to without adding your MAC address to it.

2)Make sure you're entering the correct WEP/WPA password, if any.

Hope that helps.

My wager identity this is through LAN IP handle conflict. whilst extra suitable than one gadget related in a close-by area community have the comparable LAN IP handle then IP conflict takes place. enable DHCP on your modem. DHCP is Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol the place in the Modem will allott IP addresses to all related instruments.
