I am renting from a landlord that states (it is in my lease, but he did not mention the "no pets" rule until right before we signed the lease!) that I may not have pets in my apartment. However, another tenant in the building has a dog, which he says is allowed because she was "grandfathered" into the apartment complex. Is this allowed? I do not understand why they get to have a dog and I can't have my harmless cat!

I have to read adventure books this month for school...
please suggest, rate/crotique, and breifly summarize any good teen adventure books that are somewhat challenging but not tooo hard for a 7th or 8th grade reading level.
Also, if you know, would the book "Twilight" be considered an adventure book?

This past Saturday was my cousin's weeding, she is not a closed cousin and her parents doesn't have good relatiosnhip with my parents BUT still all the family was going to be there.. So we went (hubby, I & 3 kids) We had just gotten there & my hubby told me something that offended me & got me really mad.SO I decide to leave the party cuz I was uncomfortable. After a big discussion over what he said..I decide to go back alone with my kids but he hide the keys & couldn't go back. Now I have a regret, yes it was his fault, but mine too. I should of stay at the party have fun and then discuss this back home. But I really got mad and offended that I knew I wasn't going to have any fun at all.. Time can't go back & now I regret leaving the party where my family was and had fun except us. I'm still mad with my husband but I still have this regret what can I do.I really feel bad & mad everyone was there except us.. Any advices on what to do or how to release these regret? I am a sophomore in high school and was assigned a PowerPoint presentation that is due tomorrow. Being the procrastinator I've always been, I've waited until now to start it. Unfortunately, I remember specific incidents where I've worked on Power points at school (on a Mac) and brought them home to finish them on my computer (Windows XP). I remember that switching from a Mac to Windows really screwed up my power point and I was wondering if there is any issues from making a power point on Windows XP and presenting it on a Mac.

A person told me that they had just started meditating (vipassana) and then they told me that the whole time they were sitting in meditation, it was like they were totally quiet. Like being in the zone, without any thoughts at all. I guess it's like that because the person is totally identified with one's thinking thus can't detect them. So then I wonder what to tell that person if anything? Will the meditation still do it's magical work, even if the person can't detect the thinking? I guess this might be the case, because at least sitting in meditation, regularily each day relieves some stress and healing is going on whether they can see their thoughts or not. I realize that if I tell him he's not doing it right, or something along those lines, then he might get discouraged. It's been so long since I first started, I don't recall how it was the first times.

Should a car still be on my credit report from 1999-2000? I was under chapter 13 and refiled the next year. I had a car under it, it got totaled and the insurance covering chapter 13 paid it off and let me into another car to begin my payments where I left off on the previously wrecked car. I hadn't paid chapter 13 since I got hurt on my job in 3/99. I guess they didn't check that before letting me into another car. Can this car still be on my credit report as an open account. Shouldn't it be gone by now. My chapter 13s are still there, I understand they don't go away for 10 years if they were dismissed as opposed to discharged. But this car was repossessed in 2002. 2002 wasn't the last payment but if they sell the car and charge me the difference, does that start me over with the SOL?

Howdo i restore my laptop back tofactory settings safely without losing my windows xp running program?
