I know a lot of women say that men are as moody as women and that may be true in some cases but I will admit that in my marriage, I am the moody one.
It always happens around the same time of the month and I feel crazy sometimes. The crazy things that I am feeling seem so real and important and then ridiculuous when I look back at them.
My hubby and I have a deal. During that time of the month, we don't discuss anything important. He just is super sweet and gives me massages and that type of thing to keep me in a good mood as much as possible. Stress adds to the issues.

It's called hormones. Both males and females have testosterone and estrogen in their bodies. Testosterone often influences aggressive behavior. Estrogen often influences sad behavior.
Women's menstral cycles cause the balance of estrogen and testosterone in their bodies to be constantly fluctuating. When balanced at medium levels, she might feel happy or content. But when both are rising, she might feel moody and confrontational. When the estrogen rises too high, she might experience crying and spells of self pity. These chemical levels rising and falling inside the body can be very hard on the emotions. The confusion created by the emotional roller coaster might cause a great deal of stress, frustration, insecurity, and fear.
If it's that bad, send her to a doctor. She might have an abnormal imbalance.

Because men are so selectively deaf! The first 500 times I ask a guy to clean up his gross shaving mess in the bathroom sink or pick his clothes up off the floor I ask nicely. The 501st time I turn into the B*T*H of the western world!!!!
Chances are she has told you why her feelings have changed but you just haven't heard what she is saying because you either refuse to listen with an open mind or at all. Try LISTENING....it works I swear!!!!

All people are mood occasionally and all for different reason, do not take it personally,I guess someone close to you is doing it , so what you do, unknoledge the fact that she needs time out,say something like I know you are having a bit of a bad time at the moment, make her a drink ,what ever she likes, give her a kiss and disappear for a few hours

because we take care of alot more than men do. Including you and kids and the house and the laundry, and errands and cooking and cleaning, getting stuff ready for the next day. Then we are asked to have sex with you after you watched the foot ball game for 3 hours with your hands down your pants while a pile of laundry sat beside you waiting to be folded...... and we should not be moody? LOL

Sorry, it's the hormones. I know what you mean. And trust me, we don't like it anymore than you guys do. All you have to say is this: "Baby, I love you with all my heart, but I'm not a mind reader. No one is. So help me by telling me straight out how you feel and what you will like for me to do about it. Just because I can't guess how you feel or what you want does not mean my love for you is any less. It just means I am human. And doing what you tell me to do is the best I can do." Works like a charm

I don't understand why men feel this way when they themselves can experience such spontaneous mood changes. It's easier for women to emotionally express themselves which gives the illusion of their moodiness when really everybody's just the same. Some just express or need attention more than others.

It's just the way they are. Over the years, I have learned not to take this personally. They think differently than guys, so it's best to give them space when they need it. They will act moody no matter how you treat them, it's inevitable. Just let it pass and focus on the good times.

I have had two hernias in my lower bowels, yes, very painful. Talk about having cramps, or something, couldn't sit upright for very long. Now, I can't even imagine getting pain anywhere near this intensity on schedule every 4 weeks. I'd probably be pretty moody too!
