I am a sophomore in high school and was assigned a PowerPoint presentation that is due tomorrow. Being the procrastinator I've always been, I've waited until now to start it. Unfortunately, I remember specific incidents where I've worked on Power points at school (on a Mac) and brought them home to finish them on my computer (Windows XP). I remember that switching from a Mac to Windows really screwed up my power point and I was wondering if there is any issues from making a power point on Windows XP and presenting it on a Mac.

The only time this would be a problem is if you are moving between different releases of Powerpoint. i.e. the pc program is a year old and the mac program is over 3 years old. If you want to be sure, save it as an older version and then you'll be fine when you bring it in.

I have personally never had any issues working on one platform and then finishing or opening it at home. So long as the PowerPoint versions are the same and utilize the same features, you should be just fine! :) I would only be concerned if your using two different versions of office.

I have never experienced a problem making powerpoint on a PC and then sending it to the Mac. You probably won't have any issues.

I've got an idea.
there are some softwares for powerpoint to dvd solution. They always say: Burn Powerpoint to dvd, play powerpoint on TV with dvd player.(you can search this on google). you know, when you burn your powerpoint to dvd, you have no operating system conflict. For the software, I recommend you this one: Moyea PPT to DVD Burner, it's the best one among those ppt to dvd software.
go to their site for more info: http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com
