I have bought the PS3 with games but do I need any other accessories?

I have bought the PS3 for my son. Do I need to buy any other accessories to go with it??

hey hun, well congratulations on your ps3 purchase, im so jealous of your son, but ill be buying one soon.

anyways well you have bought the games so no theres nothing else you need to buy for him. Below are some things you may need if you want to go further, but you dont have to.

but if he is going to play with other people or with you for example, you will need another controller as you might have noticed the ps3 comes with 1 controller. Or if he wishes to play online, then you will need a broadband connection and playing online is free :D.

Another issue is HD, if you have a HD television then you might need to buy a component or HDMI cable to get the best quality out of your ps3, because the ps3 only comes with standard cables (composite). But even the standard cables are good quality, its just that if you want to get High Defintion then you will need buy an extra cable depending on your TV. Otherwise your son is ready to go. :D

No, you don't need to buy any other accessories if you have bought games with the PS3.

But, If your son is going to be playing games with more than one person on the PS3, then a second controller would be good because the PS3 only comes with one controller.

if he wants to play online instead of getting a wireless router, which can be very expensive, buy a wifi link. It lets you play online and is cheap. It is onsale for like $27.

Also if you have a HD tv i would invest in a HD Lead as this brings the console out of its shell :P
