I have had cable for years but I used to have DSL, and a friend of mine is about to install Veizon with an install disk to which i cringed, but I dont remember the protocol of how to install DSL by yourself.. does anyone know of a page that can show me a walkthrough of how to do it? thanks

it had tax until end of november and the mot runs out 5 december my daughter had passed her test that morning and wanted a cheap run around . we insured it that day and she drove it friday saturday sunday today the dvla have put clamp on it and told us we have to pay £160 for clamp to be removed and retax it it turns out the previous owner payed for the tax with a dodgy cheque and has been running the car for 10 months with this unpayed tax disc the car was only £220 + £68 buyers premium we have only been the legal owners since 7 oclock thursday i know this was a cheap car but i do not see why i should be held for the other 10 months as i did not own it then the dvla are saying i have no choice that if i dont pay the £160 to get the clamp removed it will go up by £80 a day plus we have retaxed the car £62.00 had to back date to 1st november so we have lost a month and av 2 tax discs now we did intend to tax the car at end of month anyway who is at fault ?? were do we stand ??

a.)True, maple trees are tapped in the spring because the sap begins to flow and the starch that was stored in the roots all winter changes back into sugar
b.)False, maple trees are not tapped in the spring because after the winter there is not enough sap to bother extracting. It must build up through the spring and summer.
c.)False, maple trees are tapped in the fall to ensure that the tree has enough energy stored to make it through the winter.

Does anyone know of two states that handle the same crime differently? If you know a website that is, dedicated to this type of research, I would appreciate it if you could share the link. For example if I was in Ohio and stole a car, I would spend six years in prison. If I was in North Carolina and got caught with the same crime, I would only serve two years. Can someone please give me web link where the states have different laws for the same crime?

It's my birthday and stuff, but it doesn't feel all that different to me and I'm just so tired and have all this homework I don't really want to do anything special. My friends and family were nice and wished me happy birthday and food and presents and what not, but I'm just kinda like in a "whatever" mood. Maybe it's teenage hormones things combined with lack of sleep and stress from school, but I dunno.

Should I just sleep and relax or force myself to celebrate it since it only happens once a year?

PS, this is the category they recommended, I have no clue it's supposed to be in here or not.

I am a first-time home-buyer, currently in the market for a home, and looking to begin proceeding on buying one particular home. I picked a home based on whether or not the monthly payments fit inside my budget, which is 35% of my take-home income for a housing. I am planning to move-in this December.
Now...currently I have 2 vehicles, both I make timely payments on. However, one is within my budget expense, and the other isn't.
The one that isn't within my budget expense I can't pay off by using the additional funds I'm qualified for in the mortgage. I can't pay the vehicle off either because of how much I owe.

The only way I can think of to get rid of this car, is to let it get repossessed. This would only start after I have moved in to my place and have paid my first mortgage payment.

Now...I know the damage this will do to my credit report, but my concern is, how will this effect my homeownership? Could I lose my home if I do this?

Can a US citizen enter Canada as a visitor with the intention of marrying a Canadian, then take the Canadian legally back into the US, and fill out all the forms then?

I think in the US, the foreign national can only enter with the K-1 visa if they intend to marry and stay there.

Alternately if there was no application for a K-1 visa made, upon entering the US, would it would be fraudulent to declare the purpose of your visit a "visit" as opposed to a "wedding" even if I want to return to Canada afterwards?

I have several Canadian friends that married US citizens in Canada and then returned to the US with their new partner, (they are just required to stay in US until their petition is processed) is that shady?
