How many votes do you think George W. and Dick Cheney got in the last election just from their name combination? I believe that some people on the fence subconsciously voted for them based on their name. Especially the perverts. Do you think my theory has any value?

I have a 95 Toyota Tacoma, 2.7 L, 4 cylinder, 4wd. Two weeks ago it did not start. The shop replaced the distrubor cap, coil, rotator, plugs(twice), plug wires and tried changing out the oxygen sensors. It now starts but it does not accelorate properly (this was not a problem before) but it is not consistant when it happens. It think it is mis-firing usually getting onto the freeway and at high speeds. It jerks really hard. The second shop told me it was the distributor cap. So we checked to make sure there weren't any cracks. It looks good. I have already spent a fortune on labor and the shops can't find anything wrong. Any suggestions.

My father firmly believes that I spend too much time contemplating the depths of our universe. But I'm just baffled by all of it- and shouldn't we? Why should I be expected to go through the actions of a life that I haven't bothered to wonder about? I really believe that this is the most important thing in life- being and feeling alive, maximizing existance, and becoming more aware of oneself. I just want to pursue my passions, compose more music, and to stop feeling so oppressed by words.
My grades aren't suffering, but my parents are worried because I skipped the "OMG, WHAT did he say?!" phase. I have a few friends who are like me, though they're the minority. I have fun, but see no point in dwelling in the shallow areas of life. Is it a bad thing that I'm in my midlife crisis at the age of 15?

I am considering partnering with another agent in my office to sell real estate and advertising. My mom wants to send my brother to juvenile hall..don't even know if she can do that. He doesn't go to school. He is rarely home and I know for fact he is running around with the older gangsters and they're most likely using him to do things..he's only 14!! Has a tattoo on his back! Family is constantly worried and stress. He comes home to change and leaves. He snuck and deleted all of his friends numbers from my mom's cell. He was suppose to go to court with my mom in September for getting caught ditching,but he never shows up at home to even go..we don't know what to do! He lies constantly. And the direction he is going, we're afraid he will end up dead. ANy advice? we live in los angeles area..

FIRST, I'm not looking to date her. I think it's immoral to break up marraiges like that, plus I don't want to get caught, if you will.

This girl is drop dead gorgeous, great figure, face and all. I had a seminar class with her this semester and have sat across the conference room table from her all this time. I betcha I've counted 10-12 times this semester where I've caught her giving me direct eye contact or otherwise looking immediately in my direction, not always vice versa. She has always been real friendly (not really flirty, however) when we've talked.

Even the other day, I did horrendous on a presentation; people were laughing at me during the pres. I wasn't even whining or looking for sympathy and she still told me I did fine.

I have dark curly hair, blue eyes, a nice smile, and the "shadow" makings of a beard, if you will. Wear plain clothes but have clean appearance.

I wonder what about me she sees and why she'd be looking at me. W-T-F?

I just want to hear stories about when you first converted. Or of you where born that way your earliest memories on the subject.


I had a vision once acctualy. It was more of an impression but it worked. When I converted to our way I was already having trouble with my family. (which is why I havent told them yet) I was having the mother of Bad days and I went to my room and laid down. I curled up and was really bummed out and was thinking very negatively (Like why should i try, etc. etc.) and I had a weird impression just then. I dreamed I was lying next to someone. (A woman) with a child between us. I was big and strong. and the woman was beautiful. I swear I could feel one of the Gods with there hand on my shoulder. (not sure which one. But I am pretty friendly with all of them.)


Not to mention the connection I have with Odin and Tyr.

One of the Two was always giving me a helping hand or encouragment when I was growing up. ( i didnt know what to call them.)
