I like Mike Huckabee because he is the only TRUE conservative running (sorry Ron Paul fans -- he's more of a libertarian than a conservative). If Senator Clinton wins the nomination conservatives will come out in droves to vote AGAINST her -- but only if they have an acceptable candidate to court their vote. Former Mayor Giuliani is too liberal to court the vote against Clinton. Conservatives will look at the two on the ticket and check the box for "None of the Above" and she will win.
Some have accused him of being "for amnesty" - this isn't true. His opponents are saying he pushed for in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants in Arkansas. This is true but the "rest of the story" is that he pushed for in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants WHO WERE BORN IN THE US. This makes them legal residents and US citizens. Essentially, he was voting for in-state tuition for US citizens. Anyone who wants to uphold the Constitution will see this as a no-brainer.
One of the things that impresses me about Huckabee is his realness. In a debate about two months ago, the candidates were asked "What is the biggest regret in your life?" Most of the answers were either (a) Waiting so long to accept Jesus Christ as my Savior or (b) Having the wrong stand on abortion early in my career. They sounded so disingenuous and more like political posturing. All except Governor Huckabee who said, "Not controlling my weight." It was a REAL answer. I gave him money that night.
If you read where he stands on the "Issues" side of his website, all but the fringe GOPers will agree with him (with the exception of taxes -- he wants radical change).

Mike Huckabee. Besides his executive (Arkansas governor) experience, here's why:
Led Arkansas to human life amendment in state constitution
I would love to see us have in this country what I helped lead in our state in Arkansas, and that's a human life amendment to our state constitution, Amendment 65, that says that we believe life begins at conception, and that we ought to do everything in the world possible to protect it until its natural conclusion. And that means that we truly value and respect, elevate and celebrate every life.

The man, the one and only, the master of disaster .....
Ron Paul ...... why ?
Because he match my intrest on issues e.g.
Constitutionist, pro-life, anti-war, limited government, free market, non-interconventionalist (America to mind it's own business and stop policing the world) .. He is a veteren, he is a congressman, he is a physician, he's pretty consistant for many many years on these issues .... what more can I ask !!!

Dr. Ron Paul because he's one of the only ones that is consistent. I do like Mike Huckabee a little as well but have nagging questions about him.

Rudy Giulliani. He's the only one who's a fiscal conservative, a social moderate, strong on defense, and tough on crime, all rolled into one.
And he's the only one who can stop the advance of socialism in our country (i.e. Hillary).
Vote for Rudy!
