Yeah, I don't get it either.
I also don't see what the point of the choice thing is. Baseball is a choice, and we don't discriminate against baseball fans. Christianity is a choice and it's ILLEGAL to discriminate against them.
Even if it were a choice, how would that be relevant?

There is no way that I could be physically attracted to another man. Brutally honesty, if they were post op TV, then it would work until found to have the wrong equipment, but that is a specialized case.
I definitely think that it is not a choice.
Edit:
The porn "addiction" example does not have a clue about temptation and sexual preference, even if the example was expended to include all addictions, there are no addictions that have the nearly zero success rate that homosexuals have for change.

Well, Christians are being discriminated against every, every, everyday! But Christianity is a choice. What is NOT a choice is race. But so many money-hungry thieves make a fortune by teaching kids that "Anything Sexually" is a race . . . .When actually it is INDEED a choice. There are many who have chose to "change themselves back to normal again" and have done so successfully, with the Mercy of Christ. It happens all the time. We are losing our Freedom of Speech, so you never hear about the success stories out there. However, politically, it's just impossible. There's no power and money in it . . .

homosexuality comes from curiosity-- then becomes temptation and then people go with what they feel. However what many do not know, and could care less about is that satan can easily turn someone to sin. And that is exactly what he wants people to do, to live in sin thinking it is not sin, thinking it is infact "normal" and ok in God's eyes- when it is not.
Love is a choice. Of course attraction is real-- so for someone to look past someone who they find unattractive physically but find them to be VERY attractive internally (Their heart) is a great and awesome thing one can do. But I know it is hard. I know it would be hard for me as well.....and I dated many jerks in the past who might of been good looking but BOY were they jerks! So I learned my lesson--however there are many who are attractive all over, but what is MORE important is what is on the inside- may be cleche' or however you spell that, but true!
Would you want to be with a HOT chick who was so smokin hot, but was a complete witch with a capital B?
(hehe)

Of course not. No one can "choose" to be attracted to something.
Those who insist homosexuality is a choice are just spouting off something that sounds good to them. They fail to see how ridiculous it really sounds.

Well, I'm actually one of those guys who TRIED to choose not to be gay... it was impossible.
I could go without having sex, but I had nothing in common with the group of bigots that I thought I had to please.
I am much wiser and happier now that I am a gay, buddhist democrat.
I don't understand why people refuse to accept a gay person's opinion on their own experience... but we look to the military for solutions to the war.

Listen The King is an open minded man,...but I stay true to the natural dynamics of the universe,..this is how I stay as balance as I can. Two phallic vibrations are to naturally repel theirselves!!!(same goes for 2 wombs) If you are practicing this behaviour, you are confused before anything else!

There are alot of things in life we don't choose, but we are often called to overcome the temptations we experience. For instance, a person with a porn addiction doesn't choose to feel the way they do when they see provocative pictures of women. What is important is obeying God and then allowing Him to transform us. With God, all things are possible! In fact, there are many testimonies of individuals who God has freed from the tendencies of homosexuality, by the power of the Holy Spirit...
Everyone has temptation in life...but those temptations are not always the same. They are different for each person.

According to the same logic that you are using, rapists and child molestors should be left alone, because they "can't help" that they are attracted to children or violent sex, etc.
I'm not buying any of it. Normal is normal, deviant is deviant.
