Beacuse the contents, when heated, takes up more space than there is inside the can.

Heat from the fire causes atoms in the can to gain kinetic energy. These atoms hit the side of the container more frequently with more energy causing pressure to build up. When the can fails this pressure is released all at once. If there is enough pressure built up when this happens the can will explode.

An aerosol contains a substance that is liquid when pressurized, but gives rise to gas if you relieve the pressure (that's how it works). But if you heat it, even under pressure, it will eventually boil, and build up a much larger pressure that bursts the can.

Because the heat causes the gas inside the can
to expand. The can cannot hole this build up of pressure, therefore explodes.

because there is already higher pressure in the can than outside, and heating it up makes the pressure in the can increase and eventually, the can isnt strong enough for the pressure.
