Ok my b/f and I went to a dairy farm about an hour away.
He used his car but asked I pay gas and tolls since it was my idea. When we got to the farm, I paid for over $20 in goods we both like. He wanted some things for himself and asked I buy them too since the trip was my idea. I told him he's crossing a line, especially since I brought us to a fancy Thanksgiving dinner at an upscale hotel that cost about $80.

Now I don't mind being the one to pay for special occasion things because he pays most of the rent and it is his car. But I pay all the food, and he likes to eat out a lot, and his gas and oil changes, and charges thousands on my credit card for his music equipment.

So when we were driving home, he said he was starving and wanted to eat all the food now. I told him I bought the salad, soups, and rolls for now, but the sandwich and two pastries were for dinner. He kept arguing he was hungry like a horse and wanted them now. I said if we eat all this now, that will be like a...

GOLDEN RULE (two slightly different versions):
(a) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
(b) Don't do to someone else what you you would not want done to yourself in similar circumstances.

PRIME DIRECTIVE:
As the right of each sentient species to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no Star Fleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life and culture. Such interference includes the introduction of superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such advantages wisely. ...This directive takes precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation.

After the rollers stop the display shows up saying that it is out of paper. But I have looked and there is no jam and like I said the paper tray is full but not to full. I have trouble shooted what the computer help section told me to do but it still does the same thing. Anyone have any suggestions cause i can't afford a new one and I am ready to throw this one out the window.......please I will try anything.

I bought a used car from a dealer in California, in 2006, yesterday we went to trade it in and they ran a carfax report, come to find out there is frame damage on our car. When we bought the car we asked them if it had ever been in an accident, they said no. It was not under warranty or certified. Do I have any legal recourse? I would have never bought the car if i knew there was frame/structual damage to it.

I always thought this was a boggling question, as you may have noticed we are a generation who have become highly dependent on technology. Teenagers especially are constantly on the computer, txting, iming... we start to lose face to face communications. Our use of ipods and computers require energy, the more energy, the more CO2 is emitted, which is the cause of global warming. Advancement of science and tech have also allowed countries to build nuclear bombs which cud ultimately destroy a whole nation. Human cloning is also becoming more popular, but it can radically alter human nature.
Yet, this advancement has also led to further studies and cures on cancer and diseases. Internet lets us know what goes around the world, satellites can warn us about storms, it basically allows us to live our life easier. But we have become so dependent on it.
So which do u lean towards more? Does it saves us, or will it utlimately destroy us? And if you can provide some examples in your argument.
