How have you handled things when life did not go according to plan? What are good godly ways to preservere when I feel like giving up? I know that God answers prayer but what is a good way to learn patience while doing all I can and of course waiting on the Lord? What has been your experience in these matters?

I have to do 10 quotes or passages from the Russian novel Crime and Punishment. This is on the topic of Raskilnokov's (the main character's) "warm, compassionate, humane side." This is only for Part I. I've read Part 1 and skimmed it about 5 times looking for quotes that pertain to this theme. I only need one that i dont' already have. Why do you guys like baseball? I Like it because, well, its a sport I can understand, and Its just sooo exciting. Its my passion, and I have soo much respect for its history and everything. Its my favorite thing next to family and friends. I think that baseball is more clear to understand then football cause there is no running around everywhere and you can see everything that is going on, But hey, my oppinion!! What about yours?

Buying a cruise as a golden anniversary gift. I can afford bare-bones but wanted to make it upgrade-able if other family members want to contribute and allow them to change it however they want.
I've talked to a travel agent close to the recipients and one close to me. I like "mine" better but not sure it's the best option. The couple is older, one born in Canada (the departure country of the cruise) and one in Europe. I want to be very sure that someone will help them with their passports to be sure they can re-enter the USA.
Considered just opening a gift fund with a travel agent, but every time we give them money to buy something, they give it to "someone who needs it more". A travel fund would likely be used to buy tickets for their kids to come visit - but maybe that's their prerogative?
The anniversary is Dec. 20. The cruises I'm looking at depart n May or June.

Right before or during my period, sometimes my face gets so hot and red that you can cook an egg on it
(not literally but you get the point)
I just a a tremendous 'hot flash" or whatever it was a few minutes ago...
I literally had to stick my face in a bucket of cold ice water to cool myself down..
Is this anything I should be worried about?
