I have always been green , to some people it's unatural . To me , I always get only what I need to survive and won't waste money in buying things I don't need . I have always loved nature and is now living in a lifestyle that is 95% self-suffient . Grow my own vegie garden , catch my own fish , recycle everything in the compost . Since I don't buy things from supermarket , I don't add to packaging , transport and disposal of the package material. It 's the model lifestyle that's gone very wrong and hurt the environment ....hence we have global warming. Being green used be the old way and this attitude has changed or lost . Don't know why people think going green is something new, it was how life used to be .

It'll probably change back to a cooling period in another 10 or 20 years, so enjoy it while you can.
Oh, and the planet has been doing fine by itself for millions of years and doesn't need saving. Humans have little effect on the prosperity of the planet, so enjoy life and try not to pollute too much. There are a lot more serious things to worry about than some bogus "global warming" scam.

I believe the global climate runs in cycles. Currently we are in the heating phase of that cycle. 30 years ago it was a cooling phase. Just because I don't believe all the hullabaloo about global warming doesn't mean I don't want to go green. I think our resources are precious and our reliance on fossil fuels is detrimental to our economy and ultimately, our safety. The unfortunate truth is that most of the nations that control the oil our very difficult to get along with. If we could cut that tie then we would be less inclined to involve ourselves in their skirmishes.

In my opinion, global warming is something that was made up to scare people into spending enormous amounts of money to buy special energy products that the government has put millions of dollars into and not cannot sell.

I am seeing a large popular push towards going green, however being a broke college student I feel like I don't have much choices to improve my daily life style's energy usage.
And if their are choices they involve me spending ridiculous amounts of money or changing my life completely!
