chances of pregnancy are...?

-been on the pill for about 6 months, take it regularly
-used spermicidal condom
-condom may have slipped off a little and some sperm for that reason may have gotten in me
-used emergency contraceptive pills as a precaution

always like to be extra safe with sex, not to be fooled around with, been worrying nonetheless...opinions?

I read on wikipedia that having scoliosis can cause you to have nose bleeds.

"Muscle tightness as caused by scoliosis (the tightened muscles cause blood vessels to become constricted, resulting in nosebleeds from the same side as the tightened muscles)."-Wikipedia

But because it is wikipedia I want someone to confirm to me that this is true. I have mild scoliosis and sometimes i have nose bleeds for no good reason.

I also want to know is there any over the counter drugs that can help me with my back pain.

I have a 98 Honda Civic, and the temp gauge just sits on C, which I assume means that my engine is running cold. My check engine light came on a couple of days ago, but I couldn't see, hear, or find anything wrong; now, all of a sudden, my gauge won't move from the C. A friend of mine was told the other day that she looked "filthy" and "unclean", simply becasue she did not wear make-up in the picture that she had shown that other person. She also recieved other comments such as 'you look OK, but you'd look better with make-up'.

Has society & our culture really made it impossible for a woman to 'look good' without layering their face in a cake of make-up?

Such brainwashing is also strongly reinforced by the media. Everywhere I go these days - whether its just taking my daughter for a walk in her pram, or going grocery shpping, I cant help but notice young girls - as young as say maybe 10 - that have plastered their faces full of make-up.

But, at the end of the day, is make-up really necessary to make you look good? I see mums with newborns walking around the streets with bags under their eyes that sink right to their chins - but they still remain beautiful to me. I would never even think of calling them 'filthy', as their beauty never leaves

I met this girl that works at my local walmart. I like her and believe that she likes me but dont know for sure and have no way to find out. I went up there one day to do some shopping and she started talking to me like she might be interested. Went home that night and started messing around on the net and came across her profile totally by chance. Sent her a quick note and she added me to her friends list but never replied. A few days later I asked her out via email (since I dont go to walmart that often) and it took her a few days to read it once she did she still did not reply. I would like to know one way or another if she likes me but dont want to appear pushy or look like im stalking her. So what is everbodys thougts on if she likes me or not? What should I do next (anything)? Keep in mind that I am terribly shy.
